It's a small living where I draw wild flowers.

"Small Life" is a new essay by author Soopharu, who wrote "Days of Playing with Wildflowers," a story about 126 rural wildflowers that helped me grow, which was selected for the Arko Literature Creation Fund in 2022 and the Literature Sharing Project in 2023. It is the first in three years.

《Little Life》, which contains stories of small lives drawing wild flowers, is divided into six chapters.
There are places where you wonder how 'small' a life would be if you lived a day at the age of over 50, but through the author who says that even if you don't know style, don't know famous bags, and don't know olives, you definitely have a place for yourself, the reader can gain courage from seeing the author's appearance of being 'small' but standing tall in the face of life.

In sentences like “If I’m too busy to even see flowers, what is this life?”, you can feel the boundless love for nature, just like the author’s name, Forest Haru, and sentences like “When I dig up potato buds, the people I’ve cut out with my heart suddenly come to mind.” It seems like the author’s life experiences have been brought to life in his own language.


The writer of Forest Haru occasionally published stories about his small life path in the Korean newspaper, Baedalgyeoresori, and also published a poetry collection, “The Experiment of Flowers.”
So sometimes the writing reads like poetry.


Regarding this, Choi Jong-gyu, the author of the Korean dictionary, said, “It is a word that expresses myself as I am, and it is my heart.
If you decorate or hide me, it is a facade and a show.
“The letters that create ‘small life’ will soon become the green seeds that make up a small forest,” he said in his recommendation.
