Publisher's Review
Founded in 1992 by Michael Shermer, the association currently has over 55,000 members.
This group holds annual conferences on science, psychology, and anthropology at the California Institute of Technology in the United States, and is leading the spread of a sound intellectual culture.
Jared Diamond, widely known to us for 『Guns, Germs, and Steel』, and Richard Dawkins, author of 『The Selfish Gene』 and 『The God Delusion』, are also participating in the publication of the magazine.
The Korean edition of Skeptic was launched in December 2015 and is published four times a year (March, June, September, and December).
Topics mainly cover major scientific issues such as artificial intelligence, gravitational waves, viruses, creationism, mental illness, and space exploration.
A recent issue received a great response for featuring timely articles by scientists on the COVID-19 virus and the relationship between science and religion.
