What kind of people become writers? I've always wondered this question as a literary editor for many years.
We often think that a writer is someone who writes well, but reading the letters written by Françoise Sagan makes me think that being a writer is not about 'output'.
The writer is a person who sees things differently and feels things differently.
Please be the recipient of the twenty-year-old Sagang who never gave up and knew that only writing could keep him from losing himself.

Designer's introduction

Since it is a letter, I thought it would be perfect if the cover made you feel the excitement of a newly received letter, and if the text made you feel like you were receiving a letter from your father in person.
To that end, I wanted to create a book that would be memorable not only visually but also tactilely for readers.
Meanwhile, the question of what to do with the cover naturally led to this... Fortunately, once the title was decided, the artist's worries were somewhat eased, as he felt that it would be okay to rely heavily on the title for the cover.
It was part of a heartfelt letter, but more than anything, I thought it would be good to use it as a sign that could focus on the powerful power of the sentence itself.
