Metaverse Environmental Education Project for EdTech
Description
Book Introduction
Ideas for Building a Metaverse for Environmental Education
Metaverse Environmental Education Project for EdTech
Take the Metabus to Metaschool
Ecological environment education
The "Metaverse Environmental Education Project for EdTech" contains examples of how to raise awareness of climate change and global warming issues in students in non-face-to-face settings, and educate them on the mindsets, attitudes, and practical solutions we should have.
Teaching climate change in the metaverse environment has helped us increase student interest and maximize educational impact.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, non-face-to-face education is being conducted remotely, and environmental education related to climate change is at a standstill.
I sincerely hope that through metaverse education, we can foster climate change sensitivity and the capacity and capacity to address climate change issues in future generations.
This book introduces examples of a climate crisis empathy learning center that links Seed Vault and climate crisis education, an environmental debate room where students debate pros and cons of environmental topics, an environmental group activity room where students create and participate in environmental groups, and an environmental fair that organizes, exhibits, and presents information related to the climate crisis.
We also introduced in detail the field experiential learning where you can experience it online through remote field study, but you cannot go and experience it in person, the environmental challenge where you take on the environmental challenge as a forest guardian and practice environmental protection activities in your daily life, the daily necessities invention room where you practice upcycling of resources, the AI environmental music room where you create and share environmental songs using AI tools, and the environmental education festival held together by the Office of Education.
Through the "Metaverse Environmental Education Project for EdTech," educators will gain confidence in their ability to apply future problems to the metaverse, a future technology, and apply them to education.
You'll also find that innovative ecological education, which enhances students' problem-solving skills regarding climate change and global warming, is possible in the metaverse.
