The Great Depression Recipe Book
Description
Book Introduction
The Great Depression, the economic collapse of 100 years ago, October 1929.
Luxurious clothes, expensive foreign goods, elegant dinners… One day, a dark shadow fell upon those who were enjoying a prosperous life.
The US stock market crashed like crazy overnight.
Just a day before this crash, no one noticed the momentum.
This panic, which started in the United States, spread throughout the world.
Many people, including financial experts, are still shaking their heads over why the Great Depression occurred.
Various speculations have been made to determine whether or not this belief is true.
People's assets evaporated without end.
They were busy selling the remaining assets on the market.
〈There will be good news tomorrow...〉.
But the news that came was “an endless fall in assets”.... Ahhh... my money, my life!
*US GDP drops by about 40% *US stock market capitalization evaporates by 88% *German unemployment soars to 40%*
100 years ago, the Great Depression of World War I and World War II occurred simultaneously, along with the two biggest issues in history.
What must have been the feelings of the people living at that time? They had to watch their own country suddenly plunge into war, without even knowing what was happening.
Island nations like Britain have long enjoyed developed trade and imported a significant amount of food ingredients.
However, the war cut off imports, and from then on the British suffered from unprecedented food shortages.
The remaining food supplies were given to soldiers who fought in the war.
From this time on, a life began in which all necessities for living had to be saved, including “self-sufficiency” and “food distribution from the state.”
People who lived in abundance… have changed.
-Wearing old clothes sewn together
- Grow your own garden
-Developing canned food that can be stored for a long time
-Developing nutritious food using small amounts of ingredients distributed by the government
In addition, they began to make arduous efforts! Many men headed to the battlefield.
The elderly, women, and children left behind in their hometowns had to feed their families with the meager rations regularly distributed by the state.
People who wanted to make the most nutritious meals with limited ingredients had to come up with creative recipes.

Publisher's Review
The 21st Century Investment Fever A while ago, a strong financial and real estate fever swept through people all over the world, including Korea.
Regardless of age or gender, everyone installed stock apps and bought stocks, started looking into real estate that was once awkward, and opened their eyes to a new financial world called virtual currency.
While there were people warning of danger, saying that it was a bubble, there were also people who said that even if there was a brief drop, it would eventually continue to rise.
How will the future unfold? Life is like a blessing in disguise, but history goes around and around.
Come face-to-face with the cooking and mindset of people 100 years ago as they responded to a sudden economic crisis.
By recreating recipes like fake duck, poor pancakes, and meatloaf, you can reflect on the sustainability and direction of many of the assets we enjoy today.
It contains a total of 35 survival recipes from 100 years ago, as well as notes on the Great Depression that contain historical stories from that time, and savings tips from 100 years ago.
