Into the book
In today's world, where good things are pouring out every time you wake up, it's not easy to let go of material desires.
In recent years, with the rise of 'minimalism', people have come to feel guilty about owning too much stuff, as if it were a grave sin. And 'organizing' has become a chore we don't want to do, but must do.

If we could control and store our belongings so that we knew and used them all, so that they were easy to find, easy to retrieve, and easy to put back when we were done, and so that we were the true owners of our belongings rather than being overwhelmed by them, wouldn't that alleviate our guilt?
Customers I've met at countless sites, sites filled with countless loads, consistently say this.

“I didn’t know there would be this much luggage.”
“I think I’m crazy.”
“I’m embarrassed because I don’t know how to organize well.”
“I bought it again without knowing it existed.”
“I can’t throw it away because it’s still fine.
What should I do?

We grow up hearing and living our lives being told to be organized countless times, but we never really learnt it.
Haven't you ever tried to follow along with a book or broadcast several times, but it didn't work out, so you ended up giving up and just adding to the burden on your mind?

“Organizing is not about throwing away things, but keeping only the things I really need. Tidying is about storing things so that they can be easily taken out and put back in their place.
So organizing and tidying up must go together.”

All this time, we may have been comforting ourselves by thinking that if we just did one of the two, we would quickly get back on track, so I decided not to do it.
There are many books out there explaining why we need to organize, so I'm going to share some tips to make it easier.
It's important to reduce your belongings, but it's even more important to store them conveniently so they're easy to use and find.
Above all, if you know the usefulness of storage tools and use them appropriately, you can enjoy a much more convenient life and improve your quality of life.

I saw countless customers who, not knowing that there was a way to choose storage tools, ended up buying trendy storage tools on social media or home shopping channels, only to be disappointed when they realized that the tools didn't fit their homes and ended up as pretty trash. I thought it was time for a guidebook, and that's why I wrote this book.

The storage tools introduced in "The Art of Organizing Your Home" are products that are actually being used in numerous consulting sessions at Space Organizer Co., Ltd.

Rather than prioritizing specific brands, prices, and designs, I've personally verified these storage tools in the field, offering cost-effectiveness and high maintenance rates. These are storage tools that can be easily purchased and used in many households.
I hope this will serve as a guidebook for housekeeping for mothers who have been housekeeping for a long time, for newlyweds who are just starting their married life, and for young people who dream of their own beautiful independent space.

2020, a perfect day to get organized

Publisher's Review
“I bought it again knowing it wasn’t there.”

The ongoing craze for organizing probably means that we now want our homes to be not just places to eat and sleep, but also places of rest.
I think that home should be a place where I can comfortably lay down.
But the fact that I have no place to rest my body because I gave it to things is causing me stress.
Books on organizing are pouring out to help relieve that stress.
But all the books scream about becoming minimalists, about letting go and emptying.

Oh, if it were so easy to throw away, would we have ended up like this?
While meeting with countless customers at the move-in fair for 300 apartments with 60,000 households and the space organization seminar for LG Electronics VIPs, we realized that what we really want is not a minimalist home, but a home that is organized and tidy, a place to relax, a home where people, not objects, are the masters, and a home that makes housework easier and reduces the time spent doing housework.
Simply having fewer things doesn't make a home more convenient or life easier.
Just because a space is big doesn't mean it has good storage space.
Not knowing what you have, where it is, or how many you have left is not proper storage.

These are the three most common things customers say in the field.
“Oh, it was here.”
“Hey, what is this?”
“I bought it again knowing it wasn’t available.”
Only storing things according to the exact route that suits my lifestyle will make my home convenient and comfortable.
This book provides detailed information on storage tools, the secret weapon of space organization consulting that has been proven through reviews.
Kim Hee-yeon, CEO of Space Organizer, a company that aims to make the magic of organizing and making your space bigger by one pyeong accessible to every household in Korea, is revealing the storage tools and know-how she has personally verified through over 1,000 consulting cases over the past five years.

Recommendation

Having been working in interior design for a long time, I often feel that the beginning of interior design is emptiness.
Because only through emptiness can I truly achieve the fulfillment I desire. The term "technical book" may sound stiff at first, but just like the classics of ancient mathematics, this one book will teach you the basics of theorem.
The moment you hesitate and worry, you are only one step behind.
The answer to realizing that the best interior is organization is here.

I've been married for 10 years, but my housekeeping skills are like those of a newlywed.
A book where you can learn organizing methods and know-how that even your own mother couldn't teach you.
Kim Hee-yeon's simple and easy method, such as storage tools and standing storage,
It will brighten up the space we stay in.
