Our protagonist, Mr. Mole, lives a planned life, is a hat collector, and has a strong desire for control, and he spends most of his time underground.
Because of living in the dark underground, my eyesight is not good, so I put on my glasses as soon as I open my eyes in the morning.
There is nothing that is not in Mr. Mole's house.
Thanks to the advance preparation, there are always plenty of earthworms and food, a closet full of various hats, and even puzzles that are always exciting no matter how many times you solve them.
Every nook and cranny of the underground house, built to Mr. Mole's own taste, is truly admirable.
If there was one thing missing from this perfectly equipped house, it was a cool breeze.


Mr. Mole immediately gets to work.
Since he specializes in catching earthworms, he decided to show off his skills this time too.
But Mr. Mole's trap catches the squirrel friends.
The Cheongseolmo brothers, who were caught and then released by accident, advise that to catch the wind, you need a large bag, not a trap.
From this point on, forest friends begin to appear one by one and each begin to teach different methods.
Even a weasel, a frog, and a hedgehog joined in, confidently expressing their opinions.
But the wind could not be caught by any means.
It seemed like the wind-catching operation would be a long-term battle.

Because I've only lived within a set schedule, waiting quietly feels awkward.
Accepting that things don't always go my way isn't going to be easy overnight.
But fortunately, the forest friends begin to gather one by one.
Mr. Mole feels much more comfortable than if he had waited alone.
They sit together and wait, wait, and wait again.
Then, finally, the wind came! The wind was cooler than I'd expected.
Soaking up the refreshing and pleasant breeze, Mr. Mole and his friends look forward to the next time.

We each perceive the world through our own experiences.
Just like how the forest animals here perceive the wind differently.
Mr. Mole, who said he would bring the wind home like he catches earthworms, as well as the squirrel, the weasel, the frog, and the hedgehog, all suggested imaginable methods from their own experiences.
This passage, where text and pictures follow one another, creates an interesting rhythm in itself, and the fun of discerning how they have felt the wind over time is a pleasure that young readers will especially enjoy.

This world, painstakingly crafted by artist Hansol, is imbued with the tender sensibility of hand-drawn art, a quality that cannot be captured digitally.
Mr. Mole, looking straight ahead with his round, bespectacled eyes, seems to have a lot to say to us.
A weasel, riding on the wind and whining, is a friend that makes me feel proud and somehow sad every time I see it.
When the frog, who had been quietly listening with his eyes tightly closed, showed more intense movements than anyone else, he was startled and then burst out laughing.
