Grandma Ok-hee, who can do anything she sets her hands on, is a master of farming and even cooking. Young mugwort is used for mugwort salad, spring onions are used for pickled vegetables, when lettuce grows a lot, lettuce is used for pickled vegetables, pork lettuce wraps, chives are used for stir-frying and frying, and crunchy cucumbers are used for cucumber cold soup and cucumber salad… Without even calling it a recipe, I whip up a mouthwatering table with the produce I harvest from the field that day.
