Description
Book Introduction
A palette called 'flower' on a canvas called 'mountain'
Discover the beautiful colors of nature

My hikes and travels have always been accompanied by wildflowers and trees, but in this book, “Flowers Bloom on That Mountain,” I focused specifically on the wildflowers that bloom on that mountain.

In the same season, there are many overlapping plants in different mountain areas.
I tried to include wildflowers that represent and are characteristic of the mountain range to avoid duplication as much as possible, and also included wildflowers taken in other seasons or mountain ranges for comparative explanation.
It is important to capture the beauty of wildflowers and trees in harmony with the landscape, but I also tried to capture their point so that they can be easily distinguished from other similar plants.
I try to convey information in easy-to-understand terms rather than using difficult technical terms.

The flowers fall and another year comes to an end.
I wonder where and what flowers will be blooming next year.
I wonder if I can respond to their gestures.
I'm already feeling a surge of anticipation, half curious and half afraid.

Publisher's Review
Deep in the mountains, let's find a small, blossoming happiness.

Ulleungdo, which will become more accessible with the construction of an airport in a few years, is home to a collection of endemic and rare plants, all of which are linked to endemic species and rarities.
Gadeokdo and Bigeumdo, where you can feel the early spring breeze, will overwhelm you with their picturesque scenery along the sea.
Gadeok Island is also the area where a new airport will be built, so there are both expectations and concerns about how it will change.

It also includes stories of the signature wildflowers of each mountain range, including Seokbyeongsan, Bohyeonsan, Deogyusan, Sobaeksan, and Hwaaksan, famous for their wildflowers, as well as the mysterious forests and the Daedeoksa Valley in Pyeongchang, which is full of rare plants that can only be found in high mountains.
