Book Introduction
The author, who knew nothing about whiskey, has written about his enjoyable whiskey journey and the 'living' whiskey information he learned through firsthand experience in 'The End of the Day, Whiskey'.
This is a story about over 120 types of whiskey that I tasted, felt, studied, and experienced through on-site tours of whiskey bars and distilleries at home and abroad, and through my long-term 'whiskey study'.
First, here are my personal and enjoyable tasting impressions of various whiskies I've tasted while conducting whisky studies once or twice a month over the past few years, each with a different theme.
Next up is a tour of some of the best bars in the world and distilleries in Scotland, Finland, Japan, and elsewhere.
It introduces objective information about whiskey, as well as the history and characteristics of each whiskey, distillery, and brand.
Finally, let's talk about the food and music that pair well with each whiskey.
It is a classic dish that enhances your taste buds like wine.

When you say 'whiskey', Haruki Murakami or Bill Murray come to mind, and it may feel like a drink for older men, but that's not really the case.
It's a great drink to enjoy alone, with friends, or in a group.
It is also widely used as a base for various cocktails.
There are also fewer hangovers.
These days, there are more and more young whiskey lovers, and it seems like many of them want to know more about it.
So, to make whiskey more accessible and enjoyable for many people, we created 『The End of the Day, Whiskey』.

However, it is not an encyclopedia-style book.
This is the story of a person (the author) who knew nothing about whiskey, who fell in love with the fragrant aroma of whiskey after tasting it one by one, after seeing the numerous, yet unique bottles on the bar shelf.
After doing that for several years, I squandered all my salary.
Thanks to that, I got to know a little bit about whiskey.
The author's enjoyable whiskey journey and firsthand knowledge of 'living' whiskey are included in 'The End of the Day, Whiskey.'
The author of this book, Jeong Bo-yeon, has been running a whiskey study group for a long time.
This is a place to talk about whiskey with the author and taste various whiskeys and foods.
Unlike ordinary tastings, we also include tastings, drawing, music appreciation, and dessert making, all tailored to the theme.
During this time, I had enjoyable conversations with over 500 people and tasted fragrant whiskey.
After four years, I collected and summarized those stories.
