Advice for young people who dream of becoming webtoon artists

“I wish I had more practice writing.
Of course, you have to be good at drawing, but the story is also really important.
Among my friends who have been drawing since they were young in order to go to art school, there are some who want to become webtoon artists. While those friends are really good at drawing, they are not good at writing.
If I were asked to write about what kind of story I want to tell, I would be at a loss and unable to write anything.
A method I recommend to those friends is writing a diary.
I also practiced writing by writing down in detail what happened that day in a conversational style.
Sometimes I make a script out of conversations I have with people, sometimes I narrate the emotions I felt at that time, and sometimes I turn an event into a story.

“First of all, it is good for teenagers to draw consistently.
