"Nursing Research: Research On - From Paper Reading to Research Presentation, a Practical Roadmap for First-Time Researchers" is a book designed to help nursing students, graduate students, and nurses gain confidence in conducting research and writing papers.
The authors have organized this book to help readers systematically understand the entire process of nursing research and conduct actual research and write papers by reading the papers and understanding their structure before starting research.

This book aims to naturally explain how the structure of a thesis and each stage of the research process are connected.
This book consists of an introduction and nine chapters.
At the beginning of each chapter, an introduction to the topic, learning objectives, and explanations of key terms are included to help readers easily grasp the key content.


The first part of the book, "Introduction," lays the foundation for reading papers, understanding their structure, and writing logically, followed by an introduction, literature review, and theoretical framework.
The section on research methods specifically explains quantitative and qualitative research design, sampling, reliability and validity of tools, data collection, and ethical considerations.
Data analysis and research results were presented in one chapter, and descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were covered.
It is structured so that readers can systematically experience the entire process from the beginning of research to the completion of the paper, by guiding them step by step through discussion and conclusion, as well as effective research presentation methods.

This book has several features.
First, to help readers understand, chapters 1-9 are richly presented with examples and examples taken from the latest domestic and international papers.
Second, it contains practical information tailored to the latest research environment, such as a checklist of guidelines for reporting quantitative and qualitative research in Chapters 4 and 5, review by institutional review boards in Chapter 6, and considerations when utilizing generative AI.
