Every day is thankful
Description
Book Introduction
We are thankful for our lives today
It is truly a blessing.
The words “thank you” are precious words that make both the speaker and the listener feel positive.
Gratitude is not just a greeting, but a confession of faith given to those who walk with God.
This book turns my gaze toward God and makes me confess that it is a grace to be thankful in any situation.
It speaks not only of the circumstances in which we can be grateful spontaneously, but also of the depth of faith that allows us to still express gratitude even in the midst of pain, sighs, and incomprehensible realities.
Don't force gratitude, but encourage gratitude even in situations where gratitude is not possible.
I am grateful for everything today.
Some people hurt others with their 'well-spoken words', while others comfort, revive, and breathe life into others with their 'good words'.
The author wrote every day in the hope that someone would gain strength and be able to say thank you for all those days.
This book is a compilation of the writings of that life.
As you carefully read the author's writings alongside the warm paintings of Childe Hassam, known as the American Monet, you will find yourself taking a moment to pause, quietly reflect on today, and think about the gratitude bestowed upon you.

Thank you for not doing things my way.
# How much do you know God? # Grace that is learned rather than trying to learn # May you be able to appreciate grace as grace # A mission must be heavy to be enjoyable # Only when facing death do we think about life # Find love in the corners of life # Jealousy always holds us back # It may seem foolish, but it is the greatest wisdom # There is hope in disappointment
2.
I am thankful that there are hardships to overcome.
# You are with me through any fire # You have not been abandoned # Confession and gratitude that opens closed doors # There is a reason for hiding things # What you see is not everything # God is not someone who stays in the past # Be careful of the moment of glory # You must resist temptation to be a Christian
3.
I am grateful for the help I receive.
# The difference between admiration and loveliness # Gifts, grace, and gratitude # Devotion is a little more than just overdoing it # Many good things have happened thanks to God # Miracles lead to miracles # We only ask for help in times of difficulty # A caring heart is enough
4.
Thank you for letting me live life to the fullest.
# There are days like that # Let's become the top 10% # A humble heart rather than an arrogant intellect # Live as you are (aka
(Where you called) # How nice it is to have something to remember # It's okay to be hesitant # Enjoy the fruits of the devotion that my father planted # Let's be happy and not be dragged around
5.
Thank you for still giving me hope
# Another word for failure is learning # Those who keep their positions and those who lose them # A church that pays money and is happy # Even if the world deceives us # We live because of grace # Expect excessive kindness # We are the temple of God # It is enough if you have beautiful memories

Into the book
Perhaps when the Apostle Paul looks at the church today, he feels the same frustration he felt at the church in Corinth.
If you were to ask whether the success the church advocates should be completely different from the world's, whether the values the church pursues should be completely different from the world's, what would your response be? If you sell your house and have a lot of money left over, it's easy to give thanks offerings.
It's easy to be grateful when your child goes to a good college or gets a good job.
But if, living according to God's will, we sell our house at a loss, why are we so thankful that we cry? Can we give thanks offerings? Can we be grateful that our child, who had the grades to get into a good university, ended up in a less-than-expected one, following his calling? Can we give thanks offerings because, when we could have had a smooth career at a large corporation, we were transferred to a company that could go bankrupt tomorrow, following God's will? Shouldn't Christians have a different kind of gratitude than the world? We may not be perfect, but can't we live with the cross in mind and struggle with other values? Wouldn't living that way bring us a little closer to the cross?
--- From "It may seem foolish, but it is the greatest wisdom"
We often think about faith in a distorted way.
We believe in God and believe that if God is with us, there will be no problems.
But the reality is that when God comes to us, we face problems.
Only after God comes into us do we begin to see the dark and evil world through His brightness.
God's presence with us means that we have the strength to live in this world full of sin and suffering.
Jesus came to this earth and fulfilled God's will.
But the suffering of the cross was not exempted.
Through that suffering, God's will was accomplished.
I hope you don't misunderstand.
This is not to say that suffering is God's original plan for us.
Even that suffering is worth it because it is in those moments that we can most intimately trust God's presence.
Times of suffering are never times of curse or abandonment.
When you go through a dark tunnel, God is with you.
--- From "Not Abandoned"
It seems that God wants us to constantly focus on Him.
How about this analogy? There are two types of people in this world: some who only look at the gift they've received, and others who look to the giver.
If we live only looking at gifts, our lives become greedy, but if we look at the one who gave us gifts, we live a life of gratitude.
Let's start our day with this question:
What must we let go of so that God can receive glory through our lives? What might be the glory of God that we're holding back? I hope we can once again experience the humble truth that when we let go, God works.
--- From "Beware of the Moment of Glory"
I think I understand a little bit what the Apostle Paul meant when he said in Ephesians that “salvation is a gift from God.”
Although we are grateful for the gift of salvation we have received from God, we cannot know the heart of God the Father.
Think about the 'gift of the saved'.
It's great to be grateful for the love you've received from someone, but every time I think about that love, I feel like I should give that love to someone else, too.
But the Apostle Paul says that the gift of salvation is given to us through faith.
Without faith in God, no sacrifice or love comes to us as a gift.
When that belief comes in, our lives change.
I hope that the faith that comes from God can also lead to the faith that believes in someone else.
I hope that people will be able to share the gift of love they have received with someone a little more easily.
--- From "Gifts, Grace, and Gratitude"
I feel like the direction in which someone points a finger could be pointed at me at any time.
And criticism directed at me can come regardless of my intentions.
But morning comes again, and a new day begins.
That's life.
So, is it really necessary to point fingers at others, nitpicking every little inconvenience I've encountered today? Is it really necessary to wallow in despair over today's mistakes? Just remembering that these are just days, will help you feel a lot more at ease.
Why not try to find something to be thankful for hidden amidst those inconveniences? Some days are just like that.
That's life, I guess.
