Saint, why?
Description
Book Introduction
The author, who had been involved in shamanism for over a decade, became a pastor after being freed from all demons by the grace of the Lord. Since beginning his religious life in 1992, he has counseled many Christians using his experiences.
In the process, I learned that quite a few Christians were practicing Confucianism, Buddhism, and even superstitious beliefs.
As I encountered believers who thought unbiblically and acted in a shamanistic way without any hesitation, I felt the need to organize this from a religious perspective. I began organizing this by comparing the superstitious elements that have permeated our Christianity, knowingly or unknowingly, with shamanism.

Conclusion

Into the book
Since I began my life of faith on May 6, 1992, I have experienced many strange scenes.
I also learned that Christians, although less obvious, exhibit Confucian, Buddhist, and superstitious religious practices.
I have met quite a few believers who thought unbiblically and acted in a shamanistic way without any hesitation.
I thought it was necessary to organize this from a faith perspective.
So, through the real-life cases of many people I have counseled, I have looked into the superstitious aspects that have permeated our Christianity and compared them with shamanism.
This book, “Saint, Why?” is the result of that effort.

This case makes one thing clear.
The point is not to dismiss everything as a spiritual issue.
If your body hurts, go to the hospital. If your mind hurts, go to a psychiatrist. If you maintain your religious life at the same time, all your problems will be solved.
Trying to fix everything with just faith and prayer is a dead-end job.
Let us not forget that medicine is also a precious talent that God has given to medical professionals.

The moment I stepped down the stairs, I heard God's voice loud and strong.
“It’s all better.
Don't worry~”
hallelujah!
I don't know if it was really God's voice or just the confidence in my heart, but after hearing that voice, I never felt short of breath again.
God is truly a grateful God.
There is a truth that I have realized through this difficult and painful experience.
First, even if I am a Christian who believes in Jesus, I can still get sick and suffer.
Just because you have good faith doesn't mean you'll necessarily become rich, healthy, and successful.
Second, when we face difficult and challenging situations, we must read the Word, approach God with faith, and pray more fervently.
Third, the more difficult and challenging the situation becomes, the more important it is to pray with gratitude.
Gratitude is the best secret to living a healthy and happy life.

As I publish this book, I have a few words to say to my readers.
The point is that there are no right answers to spiritual questions.
Also, I can't say that everything I've learned through experience is correct.
However, I can tell you with certainty that I have written down my experiences since I first met Jesus on May 6, 1992, as closely as possible to the Bible.
Spiritual problems must be resolved based on the Bible.
In other words, if you think about whether it is to glorify God and to exalt the name of Jesus, the answer will come out.
As I wrote this book, I was reminded once again that we must have clear standards to be victorious in the world and in our lives of faith.

Publisher's Review
To the Christians of this land, spiritual, mental and physical problems
Present each prescription so that they can be properly distinguished.

The author says that even if believers feel a little lethargic or sick, they should not be too quick to assume that it is a spiritual problem or a problem with demons.
If your body hurts, you should go to the hospital, and if your mind hurts, you should also go to the psychiatric department.
If you go to the hospital and no major physical or mental problems appear, it is a mental health issue, and the best treatment is to eat well, sleep well, and socialize with good people around you.
He also says that if you maintain your religious life well, you can solve most problems.

Based on counseling and experience, the author believes that most people who claim to be possessed by a demon or who believe they are possessed by a demon have mental health issues, and that 80-90% of them will improve with psychiatric treatment.
In particular, he emphasizes that spiritual warfare is not fought with a knife or a hammer, but rather with the full armor of God.
By worshipping, arming ourselves with the Word, and praying, we can win the spiritual war.
The author emphasizes that we should not focus on just one of these three, but rather maintain a balance.

Even if you are possessed by a demon, you can drive it out if you worship, arm yourself with the word, and pray consistently.
It is a very simple and straightforward method, but the author says that this is the truth and the true secret to getting rid of ghosts.
Physical methods such as hitting the patient or administering an enema with salt, etc., under the guise of ‘anchalgi-do’, are not effective.
This is also a clear standard to avoid being deceived by fake benefactors.
Furthermore, the author sharply points out that the reason why believers think that whenever a problem arises, it is a 'ghost' problem is because of the influence of shamanism, totemism, or heretical religions that have existed in our country for a long time, and that the reason they cannot shake off that influence even after believing in Jesus is 'because they do not read the Word.'

In addition to this, he refutes one by one the non-religious acts that are not suitable for Christians, such as discussing the 'handless day' when moving, talking about the house site, treating donations or the Bible as 'talismans', worrying about the 'three calamities', performing 'gosa' when starting a business, and looking at 'compatibility' based on the four pillars of destiny before marriage.
