“Knock knock, this is management number O.
“Let’s start the class demonstration!”

In January 2020, I can't forget the warm, cozy sunlight shining through the air of the testing center, despite my trembling heart.
I know better than anyone the feelings of teachers who have just finished the first round of exams and are preparing for the second round. Even though quite a long time has passed, I still feel a strange sense of excitement as the hiring season approaches.
Also, I smile when I think of the many teachers who will be enjoying a sense of liberation after completing the difficult first round of studies.

When I was preparing for the teacher certification exam, I constantly wondered what a good music class would be, but I couldn't find a clear answer.
Even now, six years after I started my current position, I still can't give a definitive answer.
What is clear, however, is that many teachers in the field are striving to make music classes more beneficial and enjoyable.

Classes are reborn with the addition of teachers' unique personalities based on the curriculum.
Because there is no set answer, the class demonstration is very scary for test takers.
Except for a few who have experience as temporary or part-time instructors, most test takers have difficulty guessing what the actual school environment is like, and their only direct experience with students is a brief period of student teaching.
For me, the thing that I found most difficult while preparing was the class demonstration evaluation.
It was burdensome to lead a class all by myself for 15-20 minutes, and I couldn't even imagine what actual teachers' music classes were like.

For this reason, I have always felt it was a shame that there were no realistic teaching-related books for music teacher candidates.
After much deliberation, I decided to write a book on music class practice based on my own, albeit inadequate, experience in taking the exam and what I've felt in actual educational settings.

Not only do you have only about two months to prepare after the first test, but you also need to prepare for both the practical and interview portions of the music exam, which are more important than the actual performance, so an efficient strategy is essential.
[Secret Music Class Practice for Final Pass] introduces a method to achieve final pass by establishing your own class practice structure based on a systematic and strategic process.

The most important part of preparing for a class demonstration is to quickly plan a lesson by applying your own systematic method to any problem that arises, and to demonstrate the core content according to the conditions of the problem.
Accordingly, we would like to share various know-hows so that teachers can master class demonstrations in a short period of time.
We introduce various teaching methods that can be applied to each area of music education (singing, instrumental music, appreciation, and creation) and methods (question-and-answer method, modeling, etc.) that can demonstrate communication with students through performance.

After creating your own teaching practice method, you need to practice solving the teaching practice problems quickly and accurately by planning your lessons using past exam questions and mock exam problems.
To this end, we analyzed the types of past exam questions and created mock exams based on the textbook to demonstrate various class topics.
In particular, the mock exam was created using the author's full capabilities to create questions that are as similar as possible to actual exam questions.

Additionally, we've strived to incorporate the latest educational trends throughout the book to prepare for the 2022 revised music and education curriculum, which will begin full implementation in earnest in 2022.
I hope that through this book, teachers will be able to develop the image of future teachers required by the 2022 revised curriculum.

In fact, producing a music class demonstration textbook was one of the things on my bucket list as an author.
When I was 20 years old and full of energy, I entered the music education department and dreamed of getting a perfect score on the teacher's exam. However, I was unable to achieve that dream. However, thanks to my hard work and dedication, I was able to complete [Secret Music Class Demonstration for Final Pass].
I hope that teachers will also experience the great joy of achieving their goal of 'final passing' through this book.

I hope this book will serve as a small stepping stone for prospective teachers as they move forward toward the noble mission of education.
I will be cheering on the teachers' final race with all my heart.
