Among the various popular 'types of comics' from 'Ta-da, I'm a Cartoonist Too!', which publishes comics by Gaedongi people, we've gathered together works that are likely to garner a lot of sympathy.
We have prepared a test that allows you to check your personality type by dividing it into three topics: taste, school life, and daily life.
Watch cartoons with your child, choose your own personality type, and spend time getting to know each other better.

20th Anniversary Special, Nature's Playground - Gaedongi Visited
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Magazine Day, I visited the Modern and Contemporary Magazine Exhibition held at the National Library for Children and Young Adults.

I came to hear the voice of the times told by old magazines.
The Haenam Children's Dinosaur Exploration Team, which has been on a wonderful adventure for a year, concluded its last activity on November 8th.
And we also visited the National Maritime Museum with the maritime exploration team and explored the secrets of the sea.
As we mark the end of the year, it is filled with more abundant and colorful scenes than ever before.
So, shall we embark on a grand adventure together, connecting the past, the dinosaur era, and the world of the sea?

20th Anniversary Special - Short Comics_Birthday, I Wanted to Meet You, Author!
'Short Comics', which tells a new story every month, has returned with a 20th anniversary special.
As "Gaedongi's Playground" celebrates its 20th birthday, we've included two stories with the special theme of "birthday."
Let's meet the cartoons of artists Kyung-kyu Cho and Sanho, who have a deep connection with "Gaedongi's Playground."
Don't miss the interviews with the authors at the back of each comic, which is filled with their own unique charm!


Gaedongi's House

Every month, a newsletter for parents and adults called “Gaedongi’s House” is sent out along with “Gaedongi’s Playground.”
It contains colorful and beautiful paintings by artists with developmental disabilities, news from the friend bookstore “Gaedongi’s Playground,” comics containing stories about the lives of caregivers, tips for reading picture books with children, and stories about good books.
And it includes a tour of Gaedongi's Playground, which will serve as a link between children and adults.

A Bookstore with a Comma - A Picture Bookstore That Allows "Slowness" in a Vast Meadow 〈Yeoncheon Gumbeng Bookstore〉
In "Gaedongi's House," we visit a friend's bookstore that provides rest and comfort to the neighborhood.
This time, I visited 'Gumbeng Bookstore' located in the middle of an endless grassland in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do.
Here, where picture books and nature come together, a space awaits where you can slow down and catch your breath.
When you stand at the entrance of the bookstore, the first thing that catches your eye is the wide open meadow.
Gumbeng Bookstore is a bookstore located in a riding stable in Yeoncheon that focuses on picture books.
At this month's comma bookstore, meet 'Gumbeng Bookstore,' a picture book store where slowness is allowed.

Picture books that respect diversity (2)
There are so many different types of life on Earth.
Perhaps accepting each other's different appearances and feelings as they are is the beginning of coexistence.
But what about the landscapes we see in picture books? Nature is abundant, but when it comes to depicting people, it's sometimes difficult to fully capture the diverse faces, bodies, and senses.
This month's "Reading Picture Books with Hyejin Kim" features books that foster a perspective that embraces differences as "special."
