Description
Book Introduction
“He who never stops challenging himself lives twice as long.”
The path of life is endless and life must continue harmoniously.
We must create a life where we can grow happily on that road that is not yet finished.
That path is one that continues to take on new challenges in life, and one that never stops challenging itself.
In this book, the author demonstrates with his whole body that one can take on new challenges even at the age of 65 to live a life without regrets.
From now on, what you have to do is choose a job that you won't get tired of no matter how long you work at it.
For my precious old age.

Publisher's Review
Even as a senior, you can be anything and take on challenges.
“Experts don’t write books.
Writing a book makes you an expert.
Successful people don't write books.
“Writing a book makes you a successful person.”
?These are the words of author Kim Byeong-wan, who has gone from being a Samsung man to a best-selling author and a renowned writer.
As the saying goes, writers are not born, they are made.
You too can be a writer, an entertainer, a businessperson, an adventurer, an athlete, a painter, a singer.
The important thing is to never stop challenging yourself.
Something flashed through my mind.
My childhood dream was to become a writer.
"Hey, what can't I do when I'm your age?" These are the words of adults in their 70s and 80s.
Yeah, why am I so old? I'm still a healthy 20-something at heart, even though I'm getting older.
For 30 years, I have kept a diary and written down my prayers.
65 is an age that hasn't even begun.
Let's give it a try.
I decided to become a writer and boarded an express bus to Seoul in two hours that day.
I believe that the greatest legacy I can leave my children is to show them that they can become writers, that they can challenge themselves even at this age, by living a new life without giving up even as they grow older.
A new life is only possible through challenges.
Seoul, where I came following the path of my heart, was unfamiliar, but I still ran with my life on the writer's dream.
I read Who Moved My Cheese in my 30s and it changed my life.
At the age of 62, I visited Kyobo Bookstore again to break free from the same repetitive life.
The book I was looking for wasn't there, so I looked around here and there and picked up a book.
The book contained a passage from Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee's words during a difficult time for the company: "Change everything except your wife and children."
This phrase drew me into a powerful energy before my eyes.
"When will you live a life of change?" How long will this repetitive life last? For three years since that day, I've persevered without quitting my job, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. But now, I've decided to change both my life and my career.
The next day I told my boss that I was quitting my job.
What kind of new life am I seeking? It must be a life I've never lived before.
What would make me excited, happy, and joyful? It was a new challenge.
I decided to find a new life for myself and take on new challenges.
At 60, everyone is a life expert, a writer, a painter, and a singer.
60 They are life experts who have experienced life with their whole body.
Life experts are not born, they are made.
Compared to the years and inner strength I have accumulated through living and enduring so far, a new challenge in life is like eating a piece of cake.
Why do seniors need life challenges? The reason I chose writing a book as a life challenge is because I believe it's more natural and natural for seniors to write books to share with others than to read books written by others.
This book contains '8 reasons why I decided to take on a life challenge at age 65, why it would be good to take on a challenge, and 7 ways to take the first step toward a new life challenge.'
Even seniors can take on new challenges.
Will you just waste your life? Will you live a passionate life once more? The choice is yours.
Good luck.
