I remember the day I sat on a chair for a while and had my legs massaged.
On a peaceful afternoon that was neither hot nor cold, I felt a sense of peace as I watched the people of Fukuoka go their separate ways, neither fast nor slow.
Perhaps it's this peacefulness that has long been a favorite of travelers. Even solo travelers feel at home in Fukuoka, and no matter when you visit, it welcomes you like an old friend.
Although it is a familiar travel destination, Fukuoka always gives me the feeling of being on vacation. I walked around Fukuoka, receiving recommendations for various attractions and restaurants from taxi drivers, people I met while traveling, and Japanese tourists visiting Fukuoka.
