A mother who wants to build a child's faith as he runs into the world
Description
Book Introduction
A bulldozer of fascinating bad messages They are trampling on our child What will you do as a mother? A mother's study to protect her child from being swayed by worldly logic. As the phenomenon of youth leaving the church accelerates, the world's cultural strategies to enslave our children have become more sophisticated and sophisticated. We cannot teach children that everything in the world is bad because false messages are spread through all the media they are exposed to, and truth and lies are mixed together. So, it is important to train children to discern the truth in whatever message they hear. According to research, by the age of 13, a person's worldview is already fully formed, and once formed, the thought process is not easily changed. Accordingly, this book advises that mothers should study first to protect their children. Especially now, there is no absolute truth, what you believe is the truth, and we cannot dare to say that what others believe is the truth is not the truth. So, unlike in the past when moral laws and worldviews were firmly established according to the standards of the Bible, our thoughts and beliefs can easily drift here and there without a set target. Therefore, we must teach our children the real truth so they can discern the fake, and prepare them to respond logically to various messages that pretend to be the truth. This book delves into 11 popular cultural lies today. This lie includes subtle idolatry that elevates nature, science, oneself, human emotions, communism, and new spiritualities to the place of God, as well as skepticism, moral relativism, and postmodernism, which deny the absoluteness of truth. This book logically debunks these false messages, which are so widely spread across all media, and exposes them for what they truly are. It also provides practical examples and methods to help mothers talk to their children about these topics without pressure. A child who knows how to use reason based on a solid biblical worldview will not be deceived by the world's lies that there is no absolute truth and that holding to the Christian faith is narrow-minded. And the person who can best help our children grow into such strong people is their mother! |

Into the book
The worldview changes with each new generation.
Our children may not ask the questions you and I asked.
We cannot simply rely on what we already know to pass on to our children.
The best motivation for dialectics is love.
Because we love our children so much, we listen to them and do the hard work of finding answers to their questions.
In my opinion, this is something that mothers are especially good at.
---From the "Preface"
Suddenly a strong current hit the side of our boat.
My sister-in-law and I fell overboard.
The sister-in-law was holding on to the rope next to the boat and trying to get on board.
Then, suddenly, her mother-in-law, who was in her sixties, quickly came over and grabbed her sister-in-law, a fully grown woman, by the waist with incredible strength and pulled her into the boat.
I'd only heard stories about mothers with maternal love exhibiting superhuman strength, but this was the first time I'd actually seen it… My mother-in-law's heroic actions perfectly portrayed the role of a mama bear.
She followed her instincts, she was prepared, and she was strong.
There was no time to make decisions in a moment of crisis.
The decision to fiercely protect a child is made the moment the child is born.
She will do anything to save Baby Bear.
---From "Chapter 2: How to Become a Mother Bear"
What if Jesus had said, “I don’t feel like being crucified today.
Today is not the time.
I want to be honest with you all.
Right now I don't want to act like someone I'm not, like a savior.
“Thank you for understanding.” How fortunate I am that Jesus didn’t say that!
If we use the word authenticity to mean not hiding our state of struggle with sin, then it is sound.
However, it is incorrect to use the word to describe indifference to the fight against sin or open acceptance of sin.
It is nothing but a full-scale rebellion cloaked in Christian terminology.
---From "Chapter 4 Word Thieves"
If we define faith properly, we can say that both science and Christianity contain a mixture of fact and faith.
Science tends to rely more on repeated observations, but ultimately has its roots in the philosophy of interpreting all data.
Two scientists looking at the same data can reach different conclusions based on their own philosophies.
Some would say that Christianity relies more on faith.
But the same is true of all historical science.
History cannot repeat itself like a chemical experiment.
Thankfully, Christianity is based on verifiable and supportable facts: the life, death, and resurrection of Christ.
---From "Chapter 6: Naturalism | Follow Your Brain"
If you say, “Christianity is the truth,” your child will quietly add in his or her mind, “Only to Mom.”
If you say something is true, right or wrong, your child may now nod in agreement and oblige.
But if you don't grasp this postmodernism early on, your children may end up in their teens or twenties completely respecting all of your "perspectives."
They may not accept these facts as truth, but they won't care if you accept them as truth.
If children accept the lies of postmodernism without criticism, they will seek to find 'their own truth' while respecting what you consider to be truth.
And they will not object until you tell them that your truth must become their truth too.
This may come as a huge shock to parents whose children have always been obedient while growing up.
