Into the book
Once upon a time there were three trees on a hill.
On a cold winter night, stars twinkle in the sky
Three trees had a dream.
The first tree spoke.
“My dream is to become a rich tree.
“I want to be a box that holds the most precious jewels in the world.”
I also talked about the second tree.
“My dream is to become a strong tree.
“I want to be the ship that carries the greatest king in the world.”
The third tree swayed gently in the breeze and spoke softly.
“My dream is just to be here.
“I want to be closest to heaven where God is.”
Many years have passed.
The three trees grew vigorously.
One day, some woodcutters came up the hill with axes in hand.
The first tree went to the carpenter.
What the carpenter made was a beautiful box.
But it was a sturdy chest, not a jewelry box.
The first tree sighed deeply.
“I feel like crying because I have to live in such a dirty and dark place.”

Publisher's Review
“A precious book with a message we should always keep in our hearts.”
A touching story about three trees that revived the lost dreams of innocent children!
The book that most beautifully expresses God's amazing plan!
Park Eun-hye (Professor, Department of Early Childhood Education, Ewha Womans University)
Even dreaming is difficult for children living today.
Parents who have experienced the high wall of reality unknowingly teach their children from a young age that only making a lot of money and holding power is 'success'.
By imposing this uniform framework of values on their imaginative children, parents stifle, confine, and suffocate their young dreams.
"The Tale of Three Trees" strikes a chord with such uniform thinking, showing how wonderfully and wonderfully the different dreams of young trees can come true.
This story is a bestseller among English-speaking folk tales, and has helped children develop healthy dreams and visions.
But above all, the reason this book has been loved for so long is because it conveys the difficult but crucial message of the gospel to children in a very easy and fun way.
This very traditional fairy tale has been reborn with a more structured composition, beautiful and warm illustrations, and a flowing translation by poet Ko Jin-ha, who is also prominent in children's literature.
Poiema's first children's book, "The Story of the Three Trees," was created with the perfect concept of being "the first book that Christian parents read to their children to introduce them to Jesus Christ."
In addition, it is perfect for reading with parents and children, as it contains numerous stories hidden in witty illustrations and is full of content that will keep you entertained from beginning to end.
♠ Child, the dreams you have are so precious.
The first tree wanted to become a box containing beautiful jewels, the second tree wanted to become a ship carrying a great king, and the third tree wanted to be closest to God. Each tree grew up with different dreams.
As the dream of the three trees unfolds in a completely unexpected and absurd direction, and as the path that was thought to be absurd turns out to be God's amazing plan, the children and their parents are deeply moved.
It explains in the easiest way that in the process of making dreams come true, you will experience pain, frustration, and despair, but that these are growing pains to become a true adult.
So, parents can teach and feel how mysterious and beautiful the life of dreams is by reading this book to their children.
♠ Child, the one who will make your dreams come true is Jesus.
Teaching young children that there is a Master who guides their lives and that their dreams are His to fulfill is a difficult but very important task.
Through pictures and text, children can learn that the One who moves the sun, moon, and stars shaped the first tree into a treasure chest, and that the One who is the king of heaven, earth, and sea shaped the second tree into a boat carrying a great king.
And in order to achieve such great dreams and enjoy joy, we naturally come to realize that we must rely on the Lord of life.
This book condenses the life of Jesus, who was humbled, emptied, and ultimately died.
In this short story, all the emptiness, sacrifice, and devotion that he spoke of and personally practiced are contained.
The fact that 'there is a master of life' and 'that master has given you a dream' may be the most important message in children's entire lives.
"The Story of the Three Trees" is a precious story with a message that we should always keep in our hearts.
So, it will be a touching story that will touch the hearts of not only children but also adults.
