Into the book
What kind of being is a human being? The Bible precisely defines humanity.
A creature created by God the Creator.

--- p.12

Dr. Richard Dawkins emphasized the scientific attitude of pursuing certainty and clarity.
From this point of view, it is a clear and unequivocal fact that human existence is not a matter of luck but a creation of God.
--- p.13

The truth that has been discovered and confirmed throughout world history is that there is a sinful nature within humans.
There is a deep-rooted sinfulness within humans, regardless of age.
I want to look at humanity with warm eyes like Carl Sagan.

--- p.20

'Amor Fati' is a term mentioned by the famous philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.
...
Amor fati: das sei von nun an meine Liebe! (Let this be my love.
Love your destiny).
...
People dream of 'Amor Fati' without Jesus and without God.
I dream of living life to the fullest.
Christians should not be seduced by that dream.
You should not buy into that dream that fools everyone in the world.
The Bible also warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:
Don't be fooled by the world that says life comes and goes, and that we should eat and drink because we will die tomorrow.

--- pp.54-55

What is death?
I once led a funeral service at the National Cemetery in the rain.
One of the bereaved family members was crying bitterly.
I said this:

For the saints, death is an indescribably sad event, but it is also a gift of God's grace.
Death is a gift of God's grace that ends the toil and imperfection of this world and allows us to return to the shining heaven.
We cannot know all the ups and downs of the deceased's life, but it is now a gift of God's grace that he has returned to his father's house and is resting.

--- p.86

Professor, the pride of wanting to be like God is the very source and root of sin that the Bible speaks of.
From this root of sin, all kinds of sinful fruits, such as greed, jealousy, lies, anger, fraud, robbery, and murder, grow in abundance.

--- p.112

Knowing God, loving God, and living in obedience to God's will is true success and a successful life.

--- p.130

What example did Jesus use to teach Nicodemus, who didn't know about the Holy Spirit? The wind.
The Holy Spirit is God, who is invisible to the eyes, but exists as a spirit.
The wind exists even though it cannot be seen or touched.
The wind exists, even though we don't know where it comes from or where it goes.
The Spirit of God is just like that.
The Holy Spirit, who is invisible but clearly present, and who is a spirit full of power, yet intangible.
