Into the book
It was uncomfortable at the time, but as time goes by, you come to a point where you feel it was better, and you miss those times and wish that time would pass quickly.
But then, and now, this time is not something I created, but is ‘God’s time’ given to me.
I believe that if you know that, it will be a precious time, both then and now.
--- p.6
Our war is ongoing.
We fight until we come before the Lord. Our very lives, which must become the gospel to those who reject it, are a war.
If we fear the war of faith, we will become prisoners of war.
You fight to win, but when you fight to die, you truly win.
It is a war fought to the death.
--- p.24
They had different minds.
Holiness was considered as life.
He was pleased to offer his body as a living sacrifice to the Lord.
I trained myself to always stay before the Lord, fearing that my heart would become polluted and stained.
I kept my heart only before God.
For that, I even chose death.
Love does not fear death.
A love that conquers death, I want to love like that too.
--- p.36~37
I hear the empty cries of souls bowing down to a dead god. Father, remember when you created this earth and saw that it was good.
Please remember this land and let its beauty overflow again.
I look forward to the day when this nation will sing to the Lord.
I await the day when I will kneel before the word of salvation of the Lord.
--- p.80
Even if the path we walk is sometimes dry and barren, if it is a path we must walk, it is the best and most valuable path in the world.
Many people who met Jesus did not refuse this path.
Sometimes we walked alone, sometimes we walked together, and even when we fell, we got up and kept walking.
On the road, he encountered robbers, wild animals, typhoons, and sandstorms, but he did not stop walking.
--- p.100
This love is a love that we humans do not have.
It cannot be expressed in human words.
It is too deep to be fathomed, too wide to be approached, and too high to be looked at.
People live losing this love.
Love is the answer, but we live our lives forgetting that answer.
Humans cannot imitate even the smallest form of love.
So Jesus shows us himself.
That love that people cannot handle.
--- p.180
May all who believe in the Lord on this earth become the "first church." A church that loves its own people to the end, a church that spreads the gospel to the ends of the earth for one person, a church that walks through parched land without growing weary, a church whose earnest cry never ceases, a church that does not fear death, a church that proclaims the life of resurrection, a church that loves only Jesus, a church that endures martyrdom.
And the church that meets the Lord at the ends of the earth.
Jesus, you are the eternal God.
--- p.184~185
Our dream is to see all nations sing to God.
We dream.
I have a dream that people who do not know where or how they lived will gather together and sing to the Lord.
We are the people who have been given to fulfill this dream of God.
--- p.219
Those who live in our house consider it a joy and honor to spread the gospel.
He is not afraid to leave for the sake of the gospel and is the first to move forward in testifying to the gospel.
I love to stay before the Word to know the Gospel, and I struggle every day to live by the Word, considering it as life itself.
Our family only loves Jesus.
I wish there were more houses like this in this land.
--- p.223
I want to meet the Lord.
I want to go quickly to where the Lord is.
There is not a single iota of regret or expectation in this land.
I just want to see my loved ones from all over the world who don't know me.
How wonderful it would be if I could meet them, live with them, and be taken from their land! How wonderful it would be if I could exchange my life for the life of Jesus, who gives it to them! How wonderful it would be if the One who gave me life were to give that life to those I love!
But then, and now, this time is not something I created, but is ‘God’s time’ given to me.

Publisher's Review
“Please accept this burning heart toward the Lord!”
A heavenly song resounds from the ends of the earth in search of lost souls
Missionary Lee Si-on, who wrote "A Thousand Hearts," a tearful record of his journey to Afghanistan, enduring the fear of terror and extreme loneliness for over ten years, has rekindled the hearts of countless sleeping Christians.
Afterwards, he went to South Sudan and another spiritual frontier, T country in Asia, where he was called to be the 'first missionary, first church', and entered with his wife and three children.
A land of idolatry, walled off from the world, a remote area deep in the mountains where no one wants to go and no one can, but where the heart of the Lord is drawn.
There, he survived a near-death experience and, while struggling with isolation, shared the life of Jesus with the souls of the land who knew Jesus as the 'chief demon.'
This book is a diary written in the midst of a fierce spiritual battle, and a bloody confession of a missionary who heads to the ends of the earth for lost souls.
“I will live! You will live!”
Every morning, I prayed in my sleep.
The prayers said in sleep were closer to a mournful cry than a prayer.
When I woke up in the morning, I vividly remembered the prayers I had said the night before, like wailing.
My prayer was one word repeated over and over again.
“Lord, save me!” Then one day, another voice came into my mind.
“I will rise! You will rise!” He said, “Just as the Lord conquered death and rose again, so I, who am buried in the deep, dry ground that is like death, will rise again.”
The Lord led me through the dry desert.
I knew that the desert was the face of this land.
One day, when the people of this land cry out to our Savior Jesus, “Lord, save us!” those who return to the Lord will hear this cry.
?'You will live!'
