Into the book
To me, who had long ago learned that we must survive even if it means doing everything ourselves, the unreasonable kindness and unconditional love I experienced at church was a great comfort.
The emptiness in my heart was filled as if I had already received everything, and light was shining in my life, which had been full of darkness.
--- p.27
Just one verse was enough.
When we receive a promise, we must have no doubt that it will be fulfilled.
The times and seasons are set by the Father in his own authority.
But when the Holy Spirit comes, His power will be a wonderful ability to establish us as witnesses.
--- p.51
But when I stand before God, I am not someone who originally had nothing, so the life I am enjoying now is bound to be sufficient and overflowing.
So, I think I've lived until now without knowing what a deficiency is.
It is not because everything is fulfilled, but because there was nothing in the first place, that even small things cannot be so thankful and good.
--- p.56
My heart was pounding.
I knew at once that keeping these words in my mouth, meditating on them day and night, and keeping them in practice were the keys to the great conquest of Canaan that lay before me.
In this way, I was able to hold in my hands God's prescription for overcoming fear together with Joshua.
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.”
--- p.82
It is not because the words are sweet that I long for them.
It means to long for the taste of the word until it tastes sweet to me.
The church and parents have a duty not to teach that the word is sweet, but to consistently teach so that the word feels sweet.
--- p.160
When we engrave in our hearts the Word of God, which is inspired by God, we experience God, who is the Word.
Therefore, in the Bible Memorization School, we define memorizing the Word as welcoming God, who is the Word, into ourselves.
--- p.187
The heavenly language that God gave to create the world and communicate with His people is the Word of God.
We pray to God, holding on to the promises of the Bible, and praise God who works through His words.
Not only that, but through the Word we discern God's will and gain wisdom.

Publisher's Review
The words planted in my childhood as light
You led me to live the life of Rompalipal!
The first time I went to church was the summer of my fourth year of elementary school.
“Changsu, if you go to church number 52, I’ll give you a pencil case.”
This one line my friend said in front of my house while riding his bike down the alley was a light.
The sound was so loud that it hit my ears, and I threw my spoon while eating.
I ran as fast as I could after my friend's bike.
I went to church 52 times that way, and on the 52nd time, I received a pencil case.
Only then did I realize.
That pencil case was a 52-week, 1-year perfect attendance award.
But during those 52 weeks, God was creating the heaven and earth called 'my life'.
In my life, which was deep in darkness, He created light, He created the Kingdom of God, and He created the Garden of Eden.
You touched my life and soul without me even realizing it.
God's word was planted in my life as light, creating and forming me.
