Let's get closer to God by reading and writing the Gospel of John!

The Gospel of John is a book written to help people believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and clearly reveals the gospel of obtaining eternal life through Jesus.
There are many ways to engrave these precious words from the Gospel of John in your heart, but among them, "copying"—writing down each word with all your heart—leads you to take the words deeper into your heart and delve into their meaning. The "Praying and Writing the Bible" series, in particular, is designed to help you pray with the words you've written yourself.
Let us slowly write down each word of the Gospel of John, take it to heart, and pray silently with those words.
Through the life of Jesus, we can realize the true meaning of the gospel.

Please let me become a child who worships God.
Dear Father God,
I read the story of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman.

Jesus knew the Samaritan woman's situation.

And whoever drinks the water that Jesus gives will never thirst.
He said that the water would become a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

And because God is a spirit
He said that we must worship in spirit and truth.

Dear Lord,
Please help me to become a worshiper in spirit and truth.

By cherishing worship and worshipping God with all your heart,
Please help me to please God.

In Jesus' name I pray.

"Please let me do what pleases God."
Dear Father God,
Jesus said, “The one who sent me is with me.
Because I always do what pleases him.
He said, “You have not left me alone.”

I've thought about this a lot.

God sent Jesus to this earth
Because God is always with Jesus
Jesus was able to do what pleased God.

So God did not leave Jesus alone.

Lord, I too, like Jesus, am a father to God.
Please make me a person who does things that make you happy.
When you do something, is it always something that pleases God?
Please guide me to think about it again.
And please always be with me.
In Jesus' name I pray.

"Let us become children who dwell in Jesus."
Dear Father God,
I read the story of the vine and the branches.

If you remain in Jesus, you will bear much fruit.
I remember the words that said we can give glory to God.
I always abide in Jesus
Please help me bear much fruit.
And just as the Father loved Jesus,
I also learned that Jesus loves us.
I can't tell you how happy my heart was reading these words.

I always keep Jesus' commandments well.
Guide me to dwell in the love of Jesus.
As I continue to read and write the words of the Gospel of John,
So that I can continue to learn new things about God and Jesus.
I am so happy and grateful.
Please help me become a person who loves the Lord more through your words.
