God's providence (his purposive sovereignty) is all-encompassing, pervasive, and irresistible.
Therefore, God will successfully achieve his ultimate goal for the universe.
God's providence operates "according to the purpose of him who works according to the counsel of his will" (Eph. 1:11).
This means eternal, omniscient, and infinitely wise.
Therefore, the plan and goals are perfect and there is no room for improvement.
These things never change.

Providence is the purposive sovereignty that carries out these plans and guides all things toward God's ultimate goal, leading to final completion.
The following prayer of Job is truly right:
“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted” (Job 42:2).
God states this positively:
“My purpose will stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose” (Isaiah 46:10).
