This is how the 『Jeon Han-gil Korean History Chronology Notes』 was created.

Among the 20 questions in the civil service exam, 16 to as many as 20 questions are based on historical data.
Accordingly, it is becoming increasingly important to quickly grasp the background and content of the materials presented in order to pass the civil service exam.
Especially in the civil service exam, where questions tend to be simple, a quick understanding of the materials, the ability to respond to new materials as they emerge, and a thorough understanding of previous materials are likely to be the keys to success or failure.

One of the most difficult types of questions for test takers is the chronological or period listing question.
What is unfortunate is that students who study hard often fail because they cannot connect the dots even though they know the individual theories and facts.
This is one of the common difficulties encountered because the theory is studied by dividing the units into politics, economy, society, and culture.

We have thoroughly analyzed and included all the materials that appeared in the 9th grade civil service exams (including personnel, fire department, court, and accounting) over the past 9 years and the materials presented in the current 8 modern and contemporary history textbooks, and arranged them in chronological order.
However, the date is indicated according to the source to distinguish the chronological relationship, so there is no need to memorize the month and day.
In the chronology, important events that frequently appear in questions of time and order are marked in color to clearly identify the period, and keywords that reveal important expressions or the core of events in the historical materials are marked in red to increase learning convenience.

What I wanted to achieve through the 『Chronological Source Note』 was, firstly, to enable people to naturally learn which era the source material came from by simply reading it in order.
Second, the preceding material served as the political and cultural background for the subsequent material, allowing us to naturally understand the logical chronological relationship.
Third, the chronological table and summary table of contents were designed to enable a comprehensive review that recalls not only the study of the materials but also the study of the theory.

Learning the feed is the stage of adding flesh and coloring to the piece.
Therefore, please make sure to strengthen your theoretical foundation through the textbook or 『Notes from Successful Candidates』 before studying the materials.
Theoretical study and syntactic study will form the warp and weft of a net that will hold you together to pass the exam.
