It is said that the number of people who like plants has increased to the point where new words such as 'plant butler' (a combination of 'plant' and 'butler', a person who finds joy in raising companion plants), 'companion plant' (a word referring to a plant that a person keeps close by to rely on emotionally), and 'planterior' (a combination of 'plant' and 'interior', an interior design that utilizes plants).
Since some time ago, I, too, like my mother who diligently tended to her plants when I was young, have been watering and tidying the leaves of my plants whenever I have time, and talking to them.
As if in return for that heart, plants that bloom various flowers in each season bring great happiness.

I tried to express my feelings in this coloring book.
I tried to create a small still life by drawing familiar plants such as camellia, daffodils, and irises that my mother or grandmother used to grow, as well as national plants such as skinkapsus and monstera, along with objects from traditional folk paintings.
The butterfly in the painting symbolizes love, the books symbolize wisdom, and the incense and bat patterns symbolize good fortune.
And peonies symbolize wealth and honor, and cloud patterns symbolize abundance.
It is not just a pretty picture, but it also contains the beautiful wishes and happiness of our ancestors.
