In addition to the modern and minimal framing of Han Young-soo's previous photographs, this photobook contains photographs with more dramatic and intense visual expressions, reminiscent of scenes from a movie.
And the title of the photo book was inspired by the article “People in the Recovery Period” included in the photo book “Korean Lives: after the war 1956-1960” published by Han Young-soo during his lifetime.

“With those miserable memories still vivid, I finished my military service and found myself in the middle of a life where the soot from the telephone had not yet completely disappeared.
But what was even more surprising and astonishing was the extremely ordinary and obvious fact that ‘people still live.’

As he said, the photographs in this photo album contain the artist's sincerity in trying to capture hope in the images of people living through despair, sadness, and frustration.
