Translator's Note

Publisher's Review
Personally, I think the power of this book lies in the prose of philosopher Thomas Hannah.
He observes people with sensorimotor amnesia, such as Barney, James, Louis, Harley, and Alexander, who are commonly seen around him, with an eagle eye and corrects them according to the principles of somatics.
The enlightenment gained in the process is highlighted as a universal human problem and the problem of Soma and Soma is defined.
In addition, it breaks down the 'prejudice against aging' held by those living in modern civilization and asks them to take 'self-responsibility'.
The intention is to convey in a single book the direction in which human existence should proceed through everyday life, in clear sentences, from a philosopher's perspective.
It's a great book.
It is entirely to Thomas Hannah's credit that the field of somatics can be considered not merely a collection of techniques but a philosophical domain.
It is up to the reader to judge how successful his intentions were, and the translator is responsible for any distortion of meaning that may have occurred during the translation process.
If you have the opportunity, I recommend that you read the original text line by line.
