2』 is composed of enhanced content based on the warm empathy and vivid field stories of the first edition, with more cases and the latest clinical situations added.
In particular, it focuses on special situations and core practical knowledge that nurses inevitably encounter in clinical settings, and thoroughly organizes areas essential for actual work, such as anticancer treatment, blood transfusion, narcotic analgesics, antibiotics and intravenous fluids, major tests, and CPR.
The book contains more detailed accounts of the author's experiences as a new nurse, including the trials and errors, tears, and moments of perseverance she shared with her colleagues.
The self-rationalization of laughing off the situation by saying, “I’m sick X,” the heart that cringed at the senior’s criticism, and the process of studying again and learning one by one still conveys deep empathy and comfort to nurses struggling in clinical practice.
