Publisher's Review
This book presents nine counseling techniques that are essential in the counseling process based on the flow of the counseling process.
The contents of each chapter are explained with the purpose, method, and examples of each technique so that beginners in counseling can easily understand them. Since counseling techniques require repeated practice, the core contents of the text are summarized in boxes and presented, and various practice problems are provided.

First, we summarized the tips for the technique and then had students confirm them through Practice Problem I. In Practice Problem II, we had students practice appropriate techniques related to the presented cases through multiple-choice questions. Finally, in Practice Problem III, we had students practice through subjective questions.
And for each problem, we provided an explanation to help with understanding by once again connecting the specific counseling scene and the explained technique.
Additionally, a practice observation checklist was provided so that learners could share their experiences after practicing with each other and provide feedback on their mastery of the technique and its appropriate use.
