The journey begins at the summit of the majestic Mount Nemrut.
Here, facing the mysterious ruins of Antiochus I of Commagene, he was telling his story across the ages.
Next, we move on to Arsameia.
This is a sacred land where traces of the glory of the ancient priests and kingdoms remain.
Cross the Severus Bridge and walk through a thousand years of time.
After feeling the weight of history engraved on each stone, I climb back up to the top of Mount Nemrut and stand before the tomb of Antiochus I.
On the quiet mountaintop, we reflect on the king's achievements and the legacy he left for future generations.
As you descend the rugged road, the Kahta Castle comes into view.
The walls, which stand firm, still hold the thrill and glory of the past.
The journey then continues to the Şanlı Urfa Museum and the nearby Mosaic Museum.
The lives, art, and culture of ancient peoples are gathered together, unfolding like a canvas of time. In the darkness of the deep cave city of Pere, encounter the silent slumber of time, and once again revisit their civilization at the Adiaman Museum, which preserves traces of the Kingdom of Commagene.
The cave city of “Dara Ruins” that I visited later is filled with the footsteps of a mysterious community and sounds of the past.
The ceaseless journey leads across the sea to the ruins of Eleaussa Sebaste.
Here you can feel the breath of an ancient port city.
Finally, at the end of the road, you will reach the Mosaic Museum of Zeugma.
As if the last smile of the Kingdom of Commagene had come to life in a thousand colors, the splendid mosaics radiate eternal vitality.
