The Breath of the Peruvian Andes
Peru, the breath of the Andes
Description
Book Introduction
A place where special scenery and mysterious stories coexist
The Second Story of the Peruvian Andes: The Breath of the Peruvian Andes

The first installment of the series, "Peru, Andes Time," which contains travel stories about Peru and the Andes, introduces famous tourist spots and daily life in Moquegua, where I personally lived.
In this second installment, “Peru, the Breath of the Andes,” I share my travel experiences centered around the cities in the deepest, lesser-known regions of the Andes: Ayacucho in the south and Chachapoya in the north.
In any country, there are hidden stories of locals that only passing travelers know.
The unique natural environment and beautiful scenery of the deep heart of the Andes make the stories even more mysterious.

Publisher's Review
Into the mysterious civilization and nature spread across the globe…
A peek into every corner of the Peruvian Andes

Two tribes, from the Ayacucho region in southern Peru and the Chachapoya region in the north, were conquered by the Incas just before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors, and they sided with the Spanish conquistadors and greatly assisted in the overthrow of the Inca Empire.
The Spanish conquistadors naturally established their first Spanish settlements in the deepest regions of the Andes, where these two friendly tribes resided.
So, in this area, there are not only historical sites from the pre-Inca and Inca eras, but also relics from the Spanish colonial era that remain in a richly preserved state.

The unique natural environment of the Andean highlands and the stories contained within the ruins, each with its own unique story, are captured in “Peru, the Breath of the Andes.”
Many stories that would be unknown only to professional historians were vividly brought to life by the author with the help of history and folklore teachers at the local Coarse-Rich School (COAR), where he worked for three years.

Additionally, it will provide valuable information to those preparing to travel to Peru, making their trip there more valuable and enriching.
