“Where should I go this weekend?” This is a question I often hear as a writer who creates travel programs and as a travel writer who introduces travel destinations.
It's a question that everyone from friends to close acquaintances casually asks, but somehow I find myself pondering it for a long time, feeling a sense of duty to recommend a travel destination that perfectly suits each person's taste.
It's not that there aren't any good places to recommend, but rather that there are so many must-see travel destinations in the southern region.
Starting with camping with just a tent, and continuing to broadcast about travel in the southern region, I realized that there are many wonderful places in the southern region where I was born and raised.


Many people live thinking that the place where they live is the center.
People in the metropolitan area, where half of the country's population lives, do not know much about the flower-covered islands of Shinan or the small island trails embraced by the treasure island of Jindo.
There is a saying that you see as much as you know, and you feel as much as you see.
As we live in a world where we can travel anywhere in the country in a day, getting to the southern region has become easier, and thanks to this, there are more opportunities to experience the charm of the southern region firsthand.
You can just go without making any grand travel plans or preparing anything.
If you put your mind to it, there are wonderful travel destinations waiting for you, where you can enjoy your own trip anytime, anywhere.


The southern provinces are a perfect travel destination, boasting beautiful beaches, magnificent mountains, and a land steeped in history.
There are so many places you'll regret missing this week.
As I was linking together the travel destinations in the southern provinces that had been introduced on TV, I quickly created a travel calendar for the southern provinces.
There are still so many places I want to introduce.


Moments big and small come together to become time, years, and memories, and this is the same for both humans and nature.
Everything in life is about timing and rhythm.
Even if you run fast, you have to take a break for a while.
For those of you who need a break from your daily routine, we present to you the spring of the southern provinces, where flower buds shyly burst into bloom in the gentle spring breeze, and the scenery of a thick fog rising from the sea and enveloping the entire seaside village.
I hope that 『Twelve Months of Southern Travel』 will be a good travel companion for those of you who live ordinary lives, working hard every day.
