The group of people in their 60s are not in a hurry to achieve their walking goal.
The walk of eight people who try to keep to the principle of walking as they are is coming out in an interesting way.
First of all, the most impressive part is experiencing the impossible beauty and intense power of the Matterhorn while walking through Gornergrat, Glacier Observatory, and Matterhorn Base Camp.


Also, when walking the TMB, they insist on the so-called difficult modified routes such as the Blue Pass, Sax Ridge, and Arpet Pass rather than the easy path.
Of course, Lake Blanc and other areas are only half successful, but overall, the plan is completed without a hitch.
Above all, the scene at the Balme Pass, the last pass of the TMB, which leaves one with a sense of regret, is impressive, as it leaves one with the impression that one wants to “stay” in the excitement of finishing the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc.


As the title of the book, “The Crossroads to Heaven,” suggests, “The Balme Pass divided the sky and the earth into two.
It was a heavenly beauty.
It gently depicts the journey of walking together, to the point where one might say, “If there is a heaven, it seems like it would pass through a crossroads like this.”
The author said that trekking the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc “gave me a new perspective on myself.”
