Publisher's Review
This is a travelogue written by Dr. Gong Byeong-ho, based on his personal visits and observations of major sites in the Arizona National Parks and National Monuments region, one of the southwestern regions of the United States, and his research.

It peels away the superficial layers of America we know and allows us to experience its vivid reality.
We invite readers to a unique society without monarchy, the United States, a place steeped in advanced civilization that blossomed in its short history, and a space steeped in the stories of pioneers who dedicated their lives to a better future.

John Steinbeck, considered one of America's most representative novelists, had a lifelong dream of traveling across the American continent by car.
He eventually achieved this wish and documented his journey in a book called Travels with Charley in Search of America.
Traveling by car through a vast land where nature and civilization are strangely intertwined is a dream not only of John Steinbeck but of countless others.
Dr. Gong Byeong-ho, who had a deep interest in the United States and had been studying it for a long time, was also a person with the same dream.
And that wish finally came true.
He took a road trip across the American continent with his wife and documented it in writing and photos.
Dr. Gong Byeong-ho's first book about his trip to the United States is "Arizona Travelogue," a travelogue of the Southwestern region.

Dr. Gong Byung-ho and his wife's Wild West journey began in Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, and continued through southern Arizona and west to Texas.
We then toured New Mexico, crossed into neighboring Arizona to the west, and then followed the route back north to Phoenix in the central part of the state.
The book is organized in chronological order: southern, northern, and central Arizona.

This book has two virtues.
One is that it is so comfortable to read that it feels like you are traveling with someone, even if you don't visit the destination in person.
If you have a question while reading a book, you can greatly increase the reading effect by searching on Google or watching a YouTube video, as if you were actually there.

Another is that it is a new style of 'quasi-travel guidebook' that you can keep with you before or during your trip.
Beyond simply providing information about a place, we aim to provide information on the history, culture, present, and future of the place you visit.

But this book is clearer than any other travel guide.
It clearly conveys the message that 'you must see and feel this or that place here.'
No matter where you visit, we strive to overcome the limitations of existing travel guidebooks, keeping in mind the truth that "you can see as much as you know."
