First, we introduced art museums and galleries divided by representative European countries and cities.
It introduces a total of 45 art museums in 13 cities across 8 countries, and organizes the representative works in their collections in chronological order along with explanations of the art museums, providing detailed explanations of the works, backstories, and stories of the artists contained in the paintings.

Representative images of works are displayed at the top, and descriptions of the works are located directly below, allowing you to find the work and read the description at a glance.
That is, it is designed so that you can visit an art museum, open a book, find the work in front of you, and check the description of the work.

Publisher's Review
British Museum, Louvre Museum, Orsay Museum, Vatican Museum, etc.
We introduce 45 representative art museums in Europe.

Anyone traveling to Europe usually plans to visit one or two art galleries or museums.
But no matter how much it is called one of the world's top three museums or the largest art museum in Europe, if there are no works of art that really catch your eye, it is nothing but a waste of time, money, and energy.
There are many different styles of preparing for a trip, but the place where you can truly feel the saying, "You see as much as you know," is the art galleries and museums of Europe.

Therefore, a trip to a European art museum requires a little preparation.
If you know even a little about European paintings, sculptures, or ancient artifacts and look at the works, you will naturally be able to feel and understand European culture.
So, even if you're not particularly interested in art, if you're planning a trip to Europe, I recommend learning about the art pieces housed in each city's famous art galleries and museums, and definitely visiting one or two of them.
Isn't the greatest gift of traveling Europe being able to see famous works of art, previously only seen in textbooks, with your own eyes?

Gallery 1 European Art History

European art movements are complex.
Unless you are a specialist or an art enthusiast, it is not easy to grasp the flow, so there are many things that have been known only through piecemeal information.
By introducing the history of art that is central to European art, such as Hellenism, Byzantine, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Impressionism, which we had only heard of before, along with representative works, we have made it easy for anyone to understand the history of European art.
