Book Introduction
India, the light of the soul that never fades

India, a country that has been in the spotlight worldwide, is developing today. As the birthplace of four ancient civilizations, India boasts a unique religious culture.
Although they were under British rule for about 200 years, they have preserved their own traditional Hindu culture.
You can also get a glimpse into the process by which the author, fascinated by India, confirms the culture he has repeated in the books he has read.
Additionally, you can see the cultural, social, and economic aspects of India, where the country's rise as an IT powerhouse, Hindu religious rituals, and Gandhi's spirit coexist.

Publisher's Review
This book is a compilation of the author's experiences and curious stories from his travels in northern India.
During the 7 nights and 9 days of travel, I hesitated a lot about publishing the travelogue as a book.
Because what I could see and feel was limited and the schedule was too short.
However, if you convert 7 nights and 9 days into time, it comes to 192 hours.
It will be remembered as a precious time in my life.
Since the purpose of the trip was not simply to see and do, but to provide training as an Asian expert course, I decided to record it.

India is still far away.
There is no India.
Until a few years ago, this was something that people who had visited India often said.
Mark Twain, the American author who wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, traveled extensively in India in the late 19th century and was deeply disappointed by India, calling it a poor, dirty, and hopeless country.
Faraway land, unknown India, how is it developing now?

Travel is an opportunity to break free from the routine of daily life and refresh your thoughts and mind.
The joy of traveling is that you can visit places you've always wanted to go and see, feel, and experience new worlds with your own eyes.
Traveling is a joyful art of life and a new creative act.
Someone once said, “If life is the prose of life, travel is the poetry of life.”
During our travels, our eyes are opened to beautiful scenery and our ears are filled with beautiful sounds.
It's nothing compared to seeing the art work in a gallery.

I have always been very interested in India, but I have never had the opportunity to visit.
But by chance, an opportunity came.
After receiving preliminary training on the Asian region from the Seoul Development Institute, our team of ten went to India for seven nights and nine days, while another team traveled to Singapore and Vietnam.
This was my first time traveling abroad, so I had high expectations and upon returning, I wanted to publish a travelogue filled with Indian culture and traditions.
I once saw this passage while reading a book.
I read an article that said that people who went to India for a week can write a book, but people who lived there for more than 10 years can't write a single book.
What does this mean?
This means that India is a country with such diverse cultures that it is difficult to understand.
I interpret this to mean that if I travel around India for about a week, I can write a book.
It seems that there are some people who have never been to India and yet still rate it as good.

India is the birthplace of four great civilizations and, along with China and Egypt, where human history began. It is a country that still retains its own unique culture.
Despite being under British imperial rule for about 200 years, they have not lost their traditional Hindu culture.
Before and after my trip, I read dozens of books on Indian history and culture, as well as Gandhi's autobiography, and was able to experience India's painful past and present.
