Book Introduction
Woe is me! I never knew expressing my feelings in English was still so difficult!

How can you combine hashtags to express your love for Vans?
How would you describe a gloomy figure sitting alone in the corner of a bar?
How can we say that we kept our cool during a market crash?
What if there was an expression that started out as a classic expression of sadness and now is used in a humorous way?

The realm of emotions that lies at the foundation of communication.
Because it is an emotion, the boundaries may be ambiguous when approaching it through language, but because it is an emotion, we can also expect the possibility of amplification through empathy.

Have you ever started with English as a language you feel comfortable with?
Rather than obsessing over sentence structure and parts of speech to accurately create English sentences and finding efficiency in acquisition, have you ever actively sought ways to express yourself in English based on your diverse emotions?

I would like to systematically introduce the realm of emotions, an ideal source for understanding and acquiring something from a first-person perspective, in the current online media English usage environment.

Publisher's Review

For those who find it easy to express dry thoughts but find it difficult to express subtle emotions.
Emotional Expression Guide,
Take a closer look at over 1,000 collocations for 300 emotional vocabulary words!
Having a full picture of the emotional spectrum helps me pinpoint the specific emotional expressions I want to express.

How can we accurately express in English the nuances of emotions beyond happiness and sadness?
It contains a journey of exploring English expressions that move from the language of thought to the language of feeling.
Even if you choose the right vocabulary, if you can't add direction to each word through collocation, your expression will inevitably be limited.
Accordingly, we selected 300 high-frequency emotional vocabulary words for each sector and presented various examples of approximately 1,000 collocations and idioms along with detailed explanations of the context.

Expressing detailed emotions through text in a non-face-to-face online environment!
At this moment, we wanted to present the English language closest to us, the maximum expression of contemporary English emotions that can be expressed at this point in time, specifically through text communication in an online, non-face-to-face environment.
It presents specific and detailed language on expression forms and styles that can be used in various online platforms such as Reddit, YouTube comments, tweets, influencer posts, Instagram, and TikTok. In particular, it presents a more casual way of expression through a combination of words that are likely to be used in hashtags, so you can directly apply it in a media environment from the perspective of a first-person speaker.

★ Author's Note ★
Each emotion has a short description explaining its meaning, its nuances and its use.
Then, the reader is provided with a handful of collocations, phrases and idioms.
These include commonly paired verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs and prepositions, as well as syntactical configurations and colloquial phraseology.
There are also examples of how such terms can be used in hashtags.
....
This is easier said than done, but some effort has been put into decoding and contextualizing terms like “saltiness” that have arisen around gaming culture and social media.

Each emotion has a brief description explaining its meaning, nuances, and usage.
Next come collocations, idioms, and idioms.
Verbs, nouns, and forms that are often paired in this section
It explains not only adverbs, adverbs, and prepositions, but also syntactic arrangement and colloquial grammar of everyday conversation.
Given the current state of the internet, we've compiled some examples of how these terms are used as hashtags, so you might find them helpful.
...
Still, I'm proud to have deciphered and contextualized terms like saltiness as they're used in gaming culture and social media, and incorporated them into this book.
