Andersen, the 'king of creative fairy tales', tells us
168 interesting and colorful stories

Modern children's literature began with Andersen.
Andersen is called the father of children's literature because he was the first writer to create works purely for children.
Although Andersen's fairy tales are the first modern children's literature and have been translated and loved by children around the world for centuries, it is a mistake to think that they are only for children.
Andersen's stories are simple enough for children to understand, yet contain profound meaning that adults can relate to.
However, as the prevailing belief was that his stories were purely for children, Andersen changed the title of the book to "New Fairy Tales" in 1843 to dispel this misunderstanding and highlight the serious aspect of his work.

So far, Andersen's entire works have been introduced in Korea in a total of 156 pieces, but this time, 12 pieces have been added, making it the first in Korea to publish all 168 pieces in one volume.
Additionally, 64 classic illustrations are included to enhance the reading experience.

Andersen's fairy tales are books that all generations read together.
Andersen's fairy tales allow readers to reflect on themselves by reflecting aspects of life as they are, as if in a mirror.
Children naturally experience this world while enjoying the world of imagination and fantasy, while adults realize the profound truths of life through the universal and social truths depicted in the works.
It is likely because of this universality of his works that Andersen's fairy tales have been able to transcend time and become world-class classics enjoyed by both adults and children.
