Opening the door to learning through learning coaching
Opening the door to learning leadership through learning coaching
Description
Book Introduction
In the lives of teachers, there are always children, our little seeds.
Teachers who were wondering how to help these small seeds grow met learning coaching and were happy.
Through learning coaching, students looked into themselves, envisioned their dreams, considered their obstacles, pondered the value of time, created schedules, considered how to sustain memories, read, and reorganized their thoughts. This allowed them to fill in the pieces of the puzzle that was their "self."
In that way, I grew up with ‘learning initiative.’

When students take responsibility for their learning and take ownership of the process, they are more intrinsically motivated and can continue learning without external stimuli.
But fostering initiative isn't simply about telling students to sit down at their desks and study.
The teacher's role is very important in encouraging students to take initiative in their learning.
And the answer lies in learning coaching.

The teacher we dream of is a facilitator who, through learning coaching, helps all children to look within themselves, build confidence and believe in their abilities, and empowers them to become the protagonists of their own lives.

In this book, we designed the 'EMGI Learning Coaching' model to foster learning initiative.
Through a learning coaching model consisting of four stages: 'Emotion, Mindset, Grit, and Initiative,' we explain student understanding, memory strategies, reading strategies, and time management strategies, and help all of these elements work organically to lead students' learning.
I hope this book will provide practical assistance to teachers and students as they grow together and establish a proactive and positive attitude toward learning.
Remembering that learning is not a simple process, but a vital journey through which we grow, I hope this book will be a companion on that journey.
