Welcome, Center Director. Is this your first time?
Welcome, is this your first time as the center director?
Description
Book Introduction
No life grows on its own.
I wanted to share with social workers in the field that the welfare ecosystem requires everyone's role, but even such opportunities are not readily available to small-scale center directors.
Most small social welfare organizations have between one and nine employees.
Just because an organization is small doesn't mean it has less work or requires less budget.
I wondered if there were any ways to address the vulnerabilities of small organizations. I pondered and pondered on the ground.

As the director of a small organization, I felt lost whenever I encountered difficulties.
I wanted to reach out, but there seemed to be no easy way to get there.
Every time that happened, I thought to myself.
“How great would it be if there was a book of business secrets that anyone could easily read?” That’s how we came together to write this book.
I hope that this small record of our experiences will serve as a guide for someone, and provide comfort and a clue to those who are in the same position.

Publisher's Review
PART 1.
The Center Director's Self-Leadership section includes interviews with the inner thoughts of small center directors, along with monthly and yearly work calendars that shouldn't be missed, and self-leadership and self-management methods for leaders.

PART 2.
The Center Director's Internal Leadership section contains the know-how for all aspects of organization operation that a Center Director should know, including proposal strategies for small organizations, welfare without worrying about money through fundraising, knowledge of minimum budgets, settlements, income, expenditures, supplies, and contracts, labor laws and personnel affairs, creation of operating regulations and document supervision, and human resource management.

PART 3.
The Center Director's External Leadership section provides practical, real-world know-how that you won't find anywhere else, including guidance, inspection, and assessment preparation, such as performance evaluations of the Center Director, internal and external networks for sustainability, methods for responding to complaints, and how to effectively file business complaints when necessary.

I believe that our center directors are people who step forward toward the future, leaving behind the past and present.
I hope that even one or two aspects of the past and present situations that can be accepted and put into practice will be reflected in the reality that readers face.
