Digital art activities that everyone succeeds in
Digital art activities that everyone succeeds in
Description
Book Introduction
It's okay if you lack artistic skills. The less skilled you are at drawing, the more fun it is.
A Guide to Happy Digital Art Classes for Everyone, Even Those Who Don't Have a Talent

It can be used freely in art classes and other times!

The authors of this book began writing this book for students who lacked confidence in their ability to draw due to their lack of mastery of art skills and who often felt disappointed with their work.
The authors noted that many students experienced the joy of creation for the first time when using digital tools, unlike in traditional art classes using pencils and brushes.
To ensure that students can fully embrace popular trends in digital drawing, design, and animation while also engaging in in-depth learning, we've selected 13 art activities closely related to our daily lives, like creating smartphone wallpapers. We've also tailored each activity to focus on developing artistic skills, not just device utilization.
It encompasses all three areas of art education: experience, expression, and appreciation, and all activities are designed to facilitate integrated education with other subjects such as Korean, social studies, and science.
The program has carefully selected several highly useful ones, from Canva and Padlet to MediBang Paint, Procreate, and Piskel, and provides a friendly explanation guide so that the work screen icons can be understood at a glance.
The appendix, 'Introduction to Art Appreciation Classes,' provides models of appreciation activities, examples of activities, and examples of incorrect appreciation classes, helping to ensure that follow-up activities for digital art activities, where sharing of artwork is particularly easy, can be conducted in a more educational manner.

Publisher's Review
Even if you don't have golden hands, everyone can create great works.
Creating a Happy Digital Art Class

The authors of this book began writing this book for students who lacked confidence in their ability to draw due to their lack of mastery of art skills and who often felt disappointed with their work.
The authors noted that many students experienced the joy of creation for the first time when using digital tools, unlike in traditional art classes using pencils and brushes.

Digital capabilities are a bonus!
Special digital art activities that will provide a rich aesthetic experience.

The authors designed all the activities in this book with a focus on ensuring that the focus remains on art education, even when using digital tools.
In this book, the authors (1) sought to encompass all three areas of art education (experience, expression, and appreciation) as defined by the 2022 revised curriculum, and (2) to fully encompass the current popular trends in art activities, such as design, digital drawing, and animation.
To this end, (3) we carefully selected 9 basic programs and provided a friendly explanatory guide that allows you to understand the icons on each program's work screen at a glance, and (4) we provided detailed information on 13 meaningful art activities as individual creative activities that can be integrated with other subjects such as Korean, social studies, and science.

In particular, art activities were developed to be as closely related to daily life as possible, maximizing the learning effect and satisfaction of creative activities and enabling in-depth learning.
We've carefully curated activities such as creating smartphone wallpapers, merchandise, logos, character creation, posters, dot animation, and online exhibitions, and we've tailored each activity to focus on developing artistic abilities rather than simply utilizing the device.
For basic programs, we have selected Canva, Miricanvas, MediBang Paint, Procreate, Piskel, Padlet, and ZEP, and included instructions and examples of how to use them.

The appendix includes an introduction to art appreciation classes, providing models of appreciation activities, examples of activities, and examples of incorrect appreciation classes.
This has made digital art activities, which make sharing works particularly easy, more educationally desirable for follow-up activities, helping learners maintain aesthetic enjoyment throughout their lives.

The Power of Happy Art Creation

A satisfying creative experience in the classroom has a ripple effect.
It encourages people to express various emotions and thoughts more actively, release energy in a healthy way, and promote their own identity and career path from being content consumers to creators.
Moreover, the expansion of appreciation experiences due to the convenience of sharing allows us to refine and develop our own unique aesthetic sensibilities, enriching and beautifying our lives.
This is precisely the beautiful educational value and necessity of digital art activities that everyone can succeed in.
