Description
Book Introduction
For climate crisis response and sustainable future A book that provides practical guidance! We support the emergence of climate citizens who will create a different future. As the climate crisis and environmental issues worsen worldwide, a book has been published containing stories about the environment that the author, an environmental activist and mother, wants to share with her teenage children. This book provides teenagers with a broad perspective on the history and coexistence of the Earth, and helps them understand the roles and responsibilities of the current generation. By reading this book, readers will be able to understand the characteristics of the Anthropocene era and discover their own roles within it. The author, who has experienced various environmental issues at Green Korea United, a representative environmental organization in Korea, has compiled his experiences and knowledge into a book. Through this book, I am telling my two teenage daughters that we all, as citizens of the Earth, must take responsibility in the age of climate crisis and create a future different from the one we have now. So, throughout the book, you can feel the mother's warm heart, hoping that her teenagers will live in a better future. This book, "Mom's Environmental Lessons for Teenagers Living in the Anthropocene," goes beyond conceptual explanations of environmental issues and is structured so that teenage readers can connect them to their own daily lives. The author's experiences and practical examples of domestic environmental protection activities, as well as stories about the climate crisis occurring around the world, add to the interest. This story will inspire both teenagers and adults to take active action to address the climate crisis right now. |
