Residents of Marginallia
Residents of Marginallia
Description
Book Introduction
Marginalia, meaning ‘writing on the margins of a book.’
We create a space for ‘feminine reading’ by leaving behind and rediscovering Marginallia.
From Mary Shelley and Virginia Woolf to Marguerite Duras, Teresa Hak-kyung Cha, Clarice Lispector, Toni Morrison, Yoko Tawada, and Chan Hsieh.
How do they exist as each other's marginalia? Kim Ji-seung, author and independent researcher of "Beast Diary" and "Anyway, Pencil," detects and reveals unrecorded words and bodies, practicing a feminine reading that transcends boundaries.
