Hermetica HERMETICA
Description
Book Introduction
The roots of religion, scholarship, art and occultism.
The greatest wisdom of mankind, passed down for thousands of years!
The Hermetica, the supreme scripture of ancient Egyptian mysteries and the root of Western philosophy! It is humanity's greatest scripture, deeper than the Bible and ahead of the Upanishads.
The very scripture that laid the foundation for Western religion, philosophy, art, and occultism, spanning Greek civilization, early Christianity, and the Renaissance! The Hermetica is the source of not only occult studies, but also all humanities, theology, and art studies.
This book, which unfolds the structure and movement of new ideas and forces, and the secrets of the macrocosm and microcosm, is structured in a dialogue format that answers fundamental questions in theology and philosophy.
Since then, it has had a great influence on Plato, Pythagoras, and Stoic philosophy, and is in contact with Jewish Kabbalah metaphysics.
『Hermetica』 is a Latin expression that collectively refers to the Hermetic literature said to have been written by Hermes Trismegistus.
It is believed to have been written between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD, and Italian scholars, led by Leonardo de Candia Pistoia, a monk from the Renaissance period, gathered scattered Greek Hermetic literature and compiled the Corpus Hermeticum, which can be considered a complete collection of Hermetic texts.
The Corpus Hermeticum is written primarily in dialogue form and includes a wide range of writings, from texts on subjects such as alchemy, magic, and astrology to philosophical texts.
The Hermetica served as a pillar of Western religion, scholarship, art, and occultism throughout Greek civilization, early Christianity, and the Renaissance.
This book is also meaningful to us living in modern times.
This is the power of the scriptures that transcends time.
Anyone who ponders the humanities—about God, the forces that make up the world, the movement and interaction of energy, human self-reflection, and the indicators of life—can gain living lessons and secrets from this book.

Into the book
Command your spirit to cross the sea.
Even at this time your spirit will be there in an instant.
It's not about moving from space to space, it's just about being there.
Even if you were to fly into the sky, you wouldn't need wings.
Nothing will be able to stop him, not the fire of the sun, nor the firmament, nor the whirlpool, nor any other star.
Look at the power you possess, how fast you are! If you can do this, what must God be like? Such is the "thought" of God.
He takes everything, the universe, himself, the world, in the form of thoughts that arise within him.
Therefore, unless you make yourself like God, you cannot know God.
Wouldn't the same thing understand the same thing?
Expand yourself so that you become immeasurably vast.
Jump over all bodies.
Get out of all your time.
May it be eternal.
Then you will know God.

Publisher's Review
The Hermetica is the greatest text of the Egyptian mysteries and provided much inspiration to Greek philosophers.
In particular, Plato's philosophy can be said to be an interpreted version of the Hermetica.
The early Christian mystics and their successor, medieval Christian mystics, also immersed themselves in the Hermetica and derived principles and practical methods for spiritual development and transformation from this scripture.
Renaissance figures who were fascinated by Greek and Arabic civilization also devoted themselves to translating and studying the Hermetica.
Because the source of everything they wanted was in the Hermetica.
The origin of the Western magical-esoteric system called 'Hermeticism' also lies in the Hermetica.
The fundamental research that many magical societies developed throughout the 19th and 20th centuries also originated from this scripture.
Do you want to know who God is? Do you want to understand the structure of this world? This book contains the secrets of both the macrocosm and the microcosm.
Anyone who wishes to know about the birth and origin of this world, anyone who wishes to be initiated into the Western esoteric and magical systems, anyone who wishes to explore the origins of astrology, tarot, and alchemy, will be able to discern the secrets hidden between the lines.
