How happy it is to walk
Description
Book Introduction
Life asks questions as you walk,
While you stop, your mind answers.
At the end of that road,
There is always a heart for those who walk together
This book is a record of the times I spent on the road.
From the excitement of walking on a path I've never been on before, such as the Jirisan Trail, the Buan Masil Trail, and the fog of Cheongamsan Mountain, to the patterns of the heart I learned while walking side by side with my children.
The author quietly gathers the emotions that bloom on the road like fallen leaves and writes them down gently like the sound of water.
Everyone has experienced a moment when their mind moves a little late and their body walks ahead.
Only then will you know.
That the road is not a landscape, but another aspect of ‘people’.
Depending on who we walk with and with what state of mind we walk, the same forest path, the same stone steps, and the same smell can become completely different worlds and open up before us.
Walking is ultimately about meeting ourselves again.
It is a process in which children and parents, couples, me and my past self, and nature and people grow quietly while relying on each other.
The road does not try to teach you, but when you stand before it, your heart gradually becomes humble, your speech becomes gentle, and things that were previously invisible slowly reveal themselves.
Just as a family that accompanies you on your journey becomes a light that illuminates your entire life, the author records moments in life as light discovered along the way.
"How Happy I Am to Walk" is a story that was completed not because I walked more than anyone else, but because I walked every step with love.
The times on the road come alive again in this book and ask the readers questions as well.
Where are you walking towards today?
And what do you love along the way?
While you stop, your mind answers.

Perimeter road
Even when I'm still, my feet start shaking on their own.
It's a Parents' Day gift
A diary written backwards
Stay with me till the morning
Study has appeared!
I don't know now
On the road where shadows grow longer
Course 6 is not boring
Late autumn, when rice cakes are delicious
Tomorrow I will be a middle school student and a high school student.
Napping under the zelkova tree
Nothing has died or disappeared.
We are going to a new place
I wish you peace
The road is like a religion, and religion is like a road.
I grew up on the road, I grew up on the road
If you go far on a boat, where will you arrive?
Sweet pain
That one word
I think about the pain
You've never gotten wet while walking, right?
If you can bear it
Start here
Drinking water
The real thing is comfort inside and out
Humility is a qualification
Salt bread with a taste of the sea
It is the path to repentance
Good for clearing
Who can sail without wind?

Into the book
When things are vague and uncertain, the forest path becomes a choice, and there is a corner of faith in that choice.
Just as taking the vitamins on the table every day is a small thing, but that small thing helps me, the act of not forgetting small things brings peace to people.
A single vitamin pill taken with water gives you another day.
Today, here is Vitamin.
p.10
Everyone is having fun in the mountains.
After chasing and being chased like that, we arrived at Sucheol Village.
The golden sunlight shone brightly upon us who had walked well today.
p.48
The most vague moment on a mountain is when you can't even guess where you are, when you wish you could look down from high in the sky just once.
It's a time when you can't decide whether it's right to keep going or whether it's better to turn back now.
It seems impossible to climb back up after coming down.
I can't do that, I don't have the energy, time, or water.
What I believe in at that time is the experience of having already wandered.
p.86
Hadong, where the blue Seomjin River stands as a watertight border to the left and the pine trees of the pine forest, clad in thick armor, silently await orders, will be peaceful.
In the blue sky, I completely forgot all the fatigue of the day.
These are expressions of regained composure.
We were there at 3:57 p.m. on December 31st, when the winter sun cast long shadows.
p.124
Emotions are pure and soft, so they dry out, swell, and split easily.
He often gets hurt, bleeds, and collapses.
No matter how heavy a body is, like an iron gate, it cannot prevent emotions from withering.
When emotions are agitated, the body becomes dizzy, and when a cold is caught, the body lies down.
Emotions are as thin and transparent as flower petals, so they suffocate.
p.162
There are tall and deep people.
There are all kinds of colors and all kinds of scents.
Some are colorless and some are odorless.
Some colors have scents.
Not all scents are called scents.
The word fragrant is not an easy word, even if it is subtle.
It is the shoes, hat, and backpack of a traveler who travels between the material and spiritual worlds.
The scent is like a candle, and even something as small as a little finger can fill an area.
And yet it's left empty.
We need explorers who go in search of fragrance.
