Gangwon Ani High School students' "A Walk in Search of Dreams"

A "Learning Community" created by the community, school, and family beyond the school walls.

- A book that approaches everyone with a clear resonance that makes them look at life again.
- A story of hope connecting people and learning in the community.

A record of children's first steps on the road

On the way to meet the children for the first time, I encountered the Bukhangang River, which was flowing blue towards the west.
When the bright light created a shimmer in the river, the unspoiled innocence of children came to mind.
The children I met for the first time were so overwhelmed with joy at the thought of publishing a book.
The driving force of the active instructor there created the current book.

With each page I turned, the decisions and struggles that led to coming to Kangwon Ani High School resonated deeply with me, and the dormitory life seemed so vivid that it seemed almost tangible.
When I wrote about the teachers and friends I met during my school days, I could see a maturity that was far beyond my years.
Through the walk in search of dreams, he also fully revealed his future ambitions.


This book was published under the active leadership of our supervising teacher, Kim Young-mi.
The teacher says this in the prologue:

This book records the first steps children take on the road.
It may still be a short and awkward sentence, but it contains a warmth that only someone who takes steps on their own can possess.
I hope that someday, when children begin to develop their own worlds, this will be their first record of “I walked here like this and tried to say this.”
I hope that the light from the lanterns carried by children will be passed on to someone who is taking similar steps.

This book will be a book of hope for anyone who wants to enter Gangwon Ani High School, and it is definitely a good book to recommend to children about to take the high school entrance exam and to parents about to take the exam.
