Shakespeare, the memory of sentences in human psychology
Description
Book Introduction
This book is a compilation of 14 major works by Shakespeare that encompass all human emotions, including love, jealousy, and ambition, with psychological interpretations added to the stories and famous quotes. The table of contents of the book is divided into five parts: 'Into the Magic of Love and Fate, The Narrative of Romantic Comedy, The Dilemma of Each Person's Justice, On Human Desire and Power, and Sonnets', and it introduces the essence of human psychology as told by Shakespeare through the vivid situations and emotions faced by the characters in the story. Shakespeare continues to ask us questions through his works. What is love? Where does the line between revenge and forgiveness lie? What does it mean to be human? He doesn't simply tell a story; he expresses the vivid emotions within it with words, opening up new emotions and thoughts for readers and audiences. Shakespeare's works are more than just classic literature; they are profound philosophical works that explore the complexities of human nature and life. The lingering emotions felt while reading his works continue to resonate in my heart, and I can encounter timeless lines and the human nature hidden within them. |

Into the book
1-1.
A fateful encounter:
Love blooming in disguise
Twelfth Night
Viola and Sebastian are twin siblings.
They were caught in a storm during their voyage.
The two who were separated thought each other dead, but fortunately, they were each washed ashore and survived.
When her younger sister Viola wakes up on the coast of Illyria, she decides that it would be difficult for a woman to live alone in a foreign land, so she disguises herself as a man.
Disguised as a man, she lives as a servant to Duke Orsino under the name Cesario. Soon after starting her life as a servant, Viola falls in love with Duke Orsino.
But the Duke was courting Olivia, who was rumored to be beautiful.
Viola was the Duke's maid, so she had to tell Olivia about the Duke's proposal, even though she liked him. However, Olivia was overcome with grief after her father's death and the death of her older brother, who had been her guardian.
She refused to meet anyone, let alone be courted by men.
sentence 001
Come away, come away, death, and in sad cypress let me belaid.
Fly away, fly away, breath.
Come, come, death.
And lay me down among the sad cypresses.
Fly, fly, breathe.
sentence 002
A thousand thousand sighs to save, lay me, O, where sad true lover never find my grave, to weep there!
I hear the sighs of tens of thousands of people trying to save me.
Oh, lay me down.
Let not a sad true lover ever find my grave.
Don't cry there!
sentence 003
The more fool, Madonna, to mourn for your brother's soul, being in heaven.
Your brother is in heaven.
It's even more foolish to mourn for his soul, Madonna.
sentence 004
Well, God give them wisdom that have it.
And those that are fools, let them use their talents.
Oh my god.
Give wisdom to the wise, and give skill to the foolish.
sentence 005
Conceal me what I am, and be my aid for such disguise as haply shall become the form of my intent.
Help me hide who I am and disguise myself to suit my intentions.
Then, Viola arrives to announce the marriage proposal of Duke Orsino.
Olivia feels an unexpected love for Viola.
At the same time, Toby and Andrew, who were being harassed by Malvolio, the butler of Olivia's mansion, try to make Malvolio suffer with the help of Maria, the maid of the count's family.
Malvolio is tricked by them, who plan to use Olivia's fake marriage proposal letter.
Eventually, he is falsely accused of being possessed by the devil and locked in a closet.

Publisher's Review
"Shakespeare: The Memory of Sentences in Human Psychology" carefully selects the works of Shakespeare, an author still beloved today, and compiles them with interpretations of the stories and famous lines within them.
Reading Shakespeare's works always evokes new emotions and thoughts.
His writings go beyond mere classical literature; they are profound philosophical works that explore the complexities of human nature and life.
The most significant characteristic of Shakespeare's works was that they were 'timeless human stories.'
The fact that stories written hundreds of years ago still captivate us and resonate deeply in our lives today is a testament to Shakespeare's power.
Shakespeare was born in England, and began his career in earnest in the 1590s by publishing historical plays such as Henry VI, gaining fame and being ranked as “England’s greatest playwright” during his lifetime.
A genius who established the basic techniques that all narratives today follow and who has mastered many genres, including plays.
A legendary writer whose works include 38 plays, 154 sonnets, and 2 long poems, including works whose titles remain.
This writer is Shakespeare.
Shakespeare was a master not only of plays but of everything that consists of language.
But while many people know his plays, few know that he also wrote over 100 poems.
Shakespeare's poems are called "sonnets," which in the West are comparable to our country's sijo.
This book introduces a selection of lesser-known lines from Shakespeare's sonnets.
Shakespeare's works are more than just literary works; they are philosophical reflections that explore all aspects of human existence.
Reading his work made me reflect on myself and realize how complex and multifaceted human existence is.
Shakespeare continues to ask us questions.
What is love? Where is the line between revenge and forgiveness? What is humanity? And even after we've finished his work, these questions will continue to resonate in our hearts.
