Abandoned School Life: How to Get Through the Dark Forest
Abandoned School Life: How to Navigate the Dark Forest
Description
Book Introduction
The husband's omniscient labor perspective and the wife's omniscient healing perspective!
The story of a couple's five years in a closed school in the countryside!

As we live, we often have to say our home address.
Most of it is related to shipping.
When I tell them my home address, the person who verifies it asks me this:

“Is this the right place?”
"yes that's right.
“You can just bring it there.”

The person who arrived with suspicion began by saying, “I didn’t know people lived here.”
Actually, I didn't know that I would end up living in an abandoned school.

There are no supermarkets, no restaurants, no convenience stores, and no streetlights!
Instead, I live in a place where there is a '2 o'clock sky'.

Into the book
Do you remember the atmosphere of a sunny spring day? There was a warm, exciting atmosphere there, as if everything was about to begin anew.
However, the building was closed, so I could only see the outside.
It was a building that hadn't been used for years.
It was not confirmed whether electricity or water was coming in.
Maybe it's raining through the ceiling.
I peeked out the window, but all I could see was a classroom sign that said something like "Class 1, Grade 1."
Even when I contacted the Office of Education, the only response I got was that they could not confirm this in principle.
We had to make decisions without knowing what the situation was inside.
Nevertheless, I said it on the way back.
“I like it here.”

After the emergence of civilization, full-scale hard work began.
No matter how much I work, it never decreases.
Why didn't I consider these things before signing the contract? I guess love at first sight is a dangerous thing.
The only good thing is that I like simple labor.
If you just sit there blankly and do simple, repetitive tasks, the story of a novel that was blocked may open up.
Actually, I don't think I had any thoughts.
I was born in a city hospital, went to elementary, middle, and high school in Seoul, and then went to work. What would I know about life in a remote area?
I only had a vague feeling that it would be 'uncomfortable'.
--- p.26~27

As you drive along the winding country roads, you can encounter various wild animals.
Stray cats, squirrels, and deer are very common.
Occasionally, you may also see wild boars, raccoons, and pheasants.
One day, I made eye contact with a large bird.
I screamed loudly when I saw it bigger than our master.
“What is that!? It looks like an owl.” “It’s an owl,” was the reply.
Life in a closed school is a series of events like this.
Things we saw in textbooks or vaguely knew about are popping up in reality.
That gap often causes buffering in my head.
Even after realizing it was an owl, I couldn't help but mutter in disbelief.
“It’s that big?” The creature I remembered as the one who brought me letters in the fairy tale was newly imprinted on me as a monster.
